You can go down the line of so called moral issues of the Christian Right and it is lined with White Supremacists, including the Pro-Life Movement.

"Solutions Fund PAC" (click here) is the primary funder of the Roy Moore campaign. I imagine they would do the same for Arpaio if asked. I bet Moore has never seen that kind of money before.

Total individual contributions - $487,979.13

A super PAC (click here) working to unseat Alabama’s Republican senator is using the recent controversy over the NFL’s national anthem protests to gin up support for former state supreme court judge Roy Moore. And it’s relying on a little-known donor with ties to President Donald Trump’s billionaire backers to finance an ad campaign on the issue....

Respect the flag, don't respect the protest. White Supremacists.

Washington ― In 2005, the foundation run by Judge Roy Moore, now the Republican nominee for a Senate seat in Alabama, accepted a $1,000 donation from a group founded by Willis Carto, a white supremacist, Nazi supporter and World War II vet who famously said he regretted fighting for the U.S instead of Germany.

The Foundation to Defend the First Amendment is one of several nonprofit groups Carto used to shuffle money around to his anti-Semitic and racist conspiracy publications, to fund Holocaust deniers, and, apparently, to donate to Moore’s nonprofit. The Carto-founded group touts its support for Moore and his Foundation for Moral Law on its web site. The contribution to Moore’s group stands out as one of just a handful it has made to organizations not explicitly involved in Holocaust denial....

Roy Moore is a White Supremacist and so is Joe Arpaio (click here).

...Eagle-eyed JMG (click here) readers Gay Old Lady and Alex noticed in my post earlier today that among the "We Stand With Roy Moore" signs at yesterday's anti-gay rally in Alabama were signs provided by the League Of The South, an SPLC-certified racist hate group. Most prominent in the photos tweeted out by Sanctity of Marriage Alabama was the above sign held by a (hopefully unwitting) black woman....

...BuzzFeed reports that Moore (click here) addressed the Council of Conservative Citizens in 1995, while an Alabama 16th Judicial Circuit Judge. Moore was elected chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, for the second time, in 2012.
The report includes a copy of the group's newsletter, the "Citizens Informer" which features a picture of Moore and other speakers at the group's semi-annual national conference.
The paper notes Moore had gained recognition for hanging a copy of the Ten Commandments in his courtroom. The stance later vaulted Moore to national prominence. It also led to his eventual dismissal as the state's chief justice in 2003, after he refused to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the Alabama Supreme Court.
The same CCC newsletter from 20 years ago also notes CCC convention delegates were greeted by then-Jefferson County Commissioner (later chair) Bettye Fine Collins and Birmingham City Councilman Dr. Jimmy Blake.

The CCC is the nation's largest white nationalist group, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. The SPLC says the group is a reincarnation of the White Citizens Councils that were formed to resist desegregation in the 1950s and 1960s....

There is something Joe Arpaio has in common with Roy Moore. They both were in contempt of court. I doubt Arpaio has received monies from White Supremacists, but, it would be interesting to find the records of his elections as sheriff.

The White Supremacist agenda is cloaked with so called moral issues such as Christian Marriage. But, one has to wonder how many White Supremacists were/are in the Pro-Life movement.

You can respect (click here) the rule of law or you can pardon former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio. You cannot do both. So if and when President Trump grants mercy to his fellow birther, his political bedfellow, his loyal partner in harassing the nation's immigrants, he'll be sending the strongest possible signal yet that the administration's tough-on-crime talk about "law and order" and a restoration of morality in enforcement is, in truth, a load of hooey.

I have covered Arpaio's antics in Maricopa County for a decade or more, and it is hard to name a more lawless lawman. He didn't just commit criminal contempt when he violated a federal court order halting his unconstitutional immigration roundups. He did so gleefully, boastfully, publicly—daring federal authorities to do something about it. And then, when they did, when federal prosecutors called him on his misconduct, Arpaio wasn't even willing or able to muster the courage of his race-related convictions. He pretended instead that he had been ignorant all along....

Anyone know John Burt?

John Burt is a member of the KKK. He ran a place called  "Our Father's House." "Our Father's House" was a place for unwed mothers. John Burt was arrested in 2003 for molesting a 15 year old at "Our Father's House." John Burt is a White Supremacist and anti-abortion activist. He is still in prison.

John Burt called himself the spiritual adviser to Michael Griffin and Paul Hill. Every hear of those thugs?

The First Abortion Doctor Killed: David Gunn (click here) ...The gunman, Michael F. Griffin, shot Dr. Gunn three times in the back as he approached the rear entrance of the clinic, and Mr. Griffin turned himself over to the police just moments later, telling them, “I’ve just shot Dr. Gunn.”...

Michael F. Griffin was a member of "The Army of God."

During his trial, (click here) Griffin's defense attorneys argued that activist John Burt "brainwashed" Griffin and drove him to commit murder. At the time, Burt was the Northwest Florida regional director of the national pro-life group Rescue America.
Burt was also a retired U.S. Marine and former member of the Ku Klux Klan (though he claims to have "abandoned the group's racist doctrine when he became a born-again Christian") and a self-professed "spiritual adviser" to a group of activists who bombed three abortion clinics in 1984.
In 2005, Burt was convicted of five counts of lewd or lascivious conduct for improperly touching and propositioning a 15-year-old girl at the home, and sentenced to 18 years in state prison....

Now, why would Trumps IT guy contact Julian Assange at Wikileaks unless he had something from the Russians to post.

Alexander Nix, (click here) who heads a controversial data-analytics firm that worked for President Donald Trump’s campaign, wrote in an email last year that he reached out to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange about Hillary Clinton’s missing 33,000 emails.

Nix, who heads Cambridge Analytica, told a third party that he reached out to Assange about his firm somehow helping the WikiLeaks editor release Clinton’s missing emails, according to two sources familiar with a congressional investigation into interactions between Trump associates and the Kremlin. Those sources also relayed that, according to Nix’s email, Assange told the Cambridge Analytica CEO that he didn’t want his help, and preferred to do the work on his own....

Is there some kind of question about the involvement of Trump and his cohorts about sacrificing the USA to Russia to win the election? There should not be.

...Having graduated from Manchester University, (click here) Alexander Nix founded Cambridge Analytica in 2013. The company has quickly grown into one of the world’s leading political data firms. The revolutionary technologies used by Cambridge Analytica have won attention of the world’s leading media The Guardian, Bloomberg, New York Times, The Telegraph, Washington Post etc.

Big Data analysis and psychological profiling are used by Cambridge Analytica to help advertisers craft their messages to appeal to specific personality types with the aim of changing their behaviour. These days, advertisement or political messages can be created and personalised for any audience and have a guaranteed effect. This has been proven by the success of the presidential campaign of Donald Trump. “My children, – says Alexander Nix in his speech at Concordia Summit, – will certainly never, ever understand this concept of mass communication”....

Trump already had the media in hand when he hired Nix. Nix is connected to nearly ever major media outlet within the spectrum of the American voter. The Guardian?

There was no reason for Nix to get in touch with Assange unless he knew the Russians had hacked the DNC website and had documents to pass on.

Ambassador and Mrs. Brown chatting with Schannel van Dijken, President of the Samoa Voyaging Society onboard Gaualofa

The US ambassador to New Zealand Scott Brown (click here) has admitted he has been investigated over allegations he made inappropriate comments on his inaugural trip to Samoa, of which he is also the US representative.

Brown told New Zealand media on Wednesday he wanted to address “innuendo and rumour” about his visit to Samoa in July to celebrate 50 years of the peace corps in the country.

Brown – speaking with his wife, Gail Huff, by his side – confirmed he was the subject of an official administration inquiry by the US state department, which sent investigators to Wellington to look into what took place on the trip.

Brown said the official complaints related to comments he had made at a party in the Samoan capital, Apia, where he told attendees they looked “beautiful” and could make hundreds of dollars working in the hospitality industry in the US. Brown and Huff said they had “no idea” the comments would be regarded as offensive.

Who in the hospitality industry in the USA makes hundreds of dollars? The average Executive Housekeeper makes $39,589 (click here). The average housekeeper makes less than that annually.

With an average salary of $22,990 per year in 2015, (click here) housekeepers and maids don't earn as much money as some other social services workers. For instance, security guards earn an average of $28,460 per year. Maintenance and repair workers ($38,950), hairdressers($28,770) and janitors ($26,180) also earn more than most maids.

“I was told by my people that you’re not Scott Brown from New Hampshire any more, you’re an ambassador, and you have to be culturally aware of different cultures and sensitivities,” Brown said....

Scott Brown is a jerk. He insulted the people who attended his inaugural visit in Samoa. They were there to welcome him and he acted like a complete jerk.

Brown was so bored with his inaugural trip to Samoa to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corp. He insulted the attendees in a backhanded way. I suppose being an Ambassador to the people in the southern hemisphere is beneath his dignity. Well, he needs to think again. He can't even wear a suit and tie. He looks like a beach bum. Where is his ukuele?

These are some of the attendees of the inaugural visit.

...Concluding the evening, (click here) Ambassador Brown and Mrs. Gail Brown hosted Samoa’s very first Pacific Women Leaders cocktail event at the Taumeasina Resort. The evening event, spearheaded by Mrs. Gail Brown, was an opportunity to meet and get to know each participant and learn about their accomplishments.  Mrs. Brown expressed how excited and delighted she was to be amongst such an exceptional group of women leaders.  Towards the end of evening the Ambassador and Mrs. Brown presented the participants with Certificates of Appreciation to honor them and their contribution to Samoa, as well as their participation in the Pacific Women Leaders program...

North Korean sanctions are among the toughest on Earth.

This would indicate the sanctions are working. This is thought to be a very desperate act for Pyongyang to raise money for the government.

2017-10-25

Authorities in North Korea (click here) are issuing vast numbers of travel permits to citizens with relatives in neighboring China and requiring them to pay “loyalty offerings” in Chinese yuan, in a bid to obtain much-needed foreign currency for the sanctions-hit government, according to sources in the country.

North Korea regularly exports workers to Russia, China, and places farther afield such as the Middle East and Africa, but requires them to remit much of their earnings to Pyongyang, which is believed to use the cash to fund development of missiles and nuclear weapons.

Reports that the government is encouraging North Koreans to visit their family members in China and bring back thousands of Chinese yuan (1 yuan = U.S. $0.15) for the privilege suggest that the Kim Jong Un regime is employing new methods to skirt international sanctions aimed at freezing its weapons program....

I haven't seen a bill from the USA Congress to certify the Iran Nuclear assessment.

October 23, 2017
By Lizzy Buchan

Boris Johnson (click here) will urge Donald Trump to row back on threats to quit the Iran nuclear deal which he will cite as a diplomatic blueprint for solving tensions with North Korea.
The Foreign Secretary will point to the success of the Iran deal while calling for "toughness but engagement" with Pyongyang following increasingly warlike rhetoric between the US President and Kim Jong-un.
In a speech in London, Mr Johnson will say the President was right to keep military action on the table in the face North Korea's increasing nuclear capabilities but he will also praise US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson for opening the door to talks....

There is another bill in the US Senate about the intercontinental ballistic missiles of Iran. There is no excuse to hold up the certification. The bill was introduced into the US Senate in January of 2017 and hasn't moved since.

S.15 - Iran Ballistic Missile Sanctions Act (click here)

Above is Mr. Boris Johnson. He is the Donald Trump of the UK. He includes the use of nuclear references in his rhetoric. It would seem even the Donald Trump of the UK wants the Iran Agreement intact.
Senator Mike Lee is typical of those that pander to Trump, they are dismissive OF THEIR OWNERSHIP.

Dismissing their ownership of any problem is a method. A METHOD of kneeling before Trump.

The words that trouble me the most is the statement by Senator Mike Lee, "...to return the Constitution to the people..." There is NOTHING wrong with the USA Constitution as it stands today. It doesn't need to be returned to power. Anyone want to look at the integrity of the sovereignty of the USA? We don't need the Constitution returned.

We don't need an external structure surrounding the government to maintain the integrity of the government. That is setting up a shadow government with power that is not elected. That is unconstitutional ideology.

The constitutional focus by these Republicans is originality. They want to remove the Bill of Rights NOT the Constitution.

Attacking local and state governments is a lie and rhetoric. These Republicans have passed draconian measures at the federal level to LIMIT the power of the local and state governments. They are currently aspiring to DEFUND the USA government in less than four years to end the federal system before the next Presidential election. The current "Election Committee" set up by Trump is working to that end as well. The Election Committee is known to ask the people they are canvassing if ending the 2020 elections due to dense corruption in the country is best for the country. The answer is even more scary. Some people are saying they want to end presidential elections beginning with 2020.

These Republicans are retuning to the Old Regime from Britain. They are currently and covertly working to return the King. I am quite confident George Washington is rolling over in his grave.
Donald Trump openly asked Russia to interfere in the election and Russia did. Where is the ad that shows Facebook ads and Donald Trump asking for Russia's help?

Where is the focus of MSNBC to that fact. Trump asked Russia to be involved and it did. Where is the same attacks with a news focus that FOX News develops for the Republicans?

It is the country. There is a question this would be imprudent? Part of the reason the Republicans carry out public hearing after public hearing from the Capital Dome is because the public/electorate are already prepped for it. We all know the politics being played by Republicans at the cost of the US Treasury.

There is a Wacko website, oh heck wants it's name?

"The Conservative Review" (click here)

Everyone states it's "Breitbart" that carries out all the lies and deceptions along with FOX News. It's ain't Breitbart.

"It is time to, get on it and on with it."

The DNC's Twitter Feed is missing leadership. Does Hillary still have a Twitter feed? Real Hillary. Does anyone think Trump wouldn't be Tweeting if he lost the election?

It is easier to address the Trump rant on a daily basis from a Twin Tweeter Feed than setting up a camera and cameraperson to answer the lies and insults. Sometimes it is necessary to fight fire with fire. Moment to moment fact to myth, lies and rhetoric. Does the country need it?

So. The DNC carried out a concern about the country. Is there a doubt today this was a mistake?

This is called intelligence. The campaigns, both Republican and Democratic, had REASONS to believe an effort such as this was NECESSARY.

It is called leadership and concern for the country. They must have had suspicions to carry out such an effort. They didn't mess around. They asked the best possible agent to carry out the investigation. They should be proud of themselves.

This is an example of how the DNC runs away from facts because FOX News has been able to scandalize it. Get over it. This is the extent that was necessary. I am confident the continuing investigations were well served to have this document. Is anyone going to say this was a mistake? It is not a mistake to me.

The facts are intact. If this wasn't part of the post election documents and testimony, it would have all been lost. The DNC did the right thing to pick up an investigation abandoned by a Republican primary candidate. It's the country. That is a deep concern for the people. That is leadership and prudent leadership.

The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (click here) helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.

Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.'

After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, retained the company in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Before that agreement, Fusion GPS’s research into Trump was funded by an unknown Republican client during the GOP primary....
