I have other responsibilities this evening. Will resume next Sunday. Thank you.

If the USA is suppose to be an example to the world, billionaire Presidents are the wrong message!

A wave of unsanctioned rallies (click here) swept across Russia on Sunday to protest corruption in the government of President Vladimir Putin, prompting arrests as hundreds of riot officers moved in to break up crowds.

The protests are driven by opposition leader Alexei Navalny and fueled by the popular response to his recent allegations that Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has amassed vineyards, luxury yachts and lavish mansions worth more than $1 billion....

Medvedev bought at least one yacht while he was President. That is interesting insight as to the Putin dilemma with the Panama Papers (click here).

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (click here) has purchased a 53m superyacht valued at approximately $42 million as a venue to host world leaders in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The Kremlin bought the boat last year, the Guardian reports. The explorer type superyacht, which is presently called Leo Fun, will be renamed as yacht Sirius.

The yacht was built by Proteksan-Turquoise and Turquoise Yacht Construction for an Italian businessman and launched back in 2009....

Leo Fun?

Oh, Tolstoy. Tolstoy authored great literature such as War and Peace, Anna Karenina and The Death of Ivan Ilyich (click here). Leo Tolstoy's grave is quite unique and nearly absent of who lies there. (click here)

Wasn't there an exclusive hospital for the "Wealth Class" recently opened?

...Authorities charged Navalny, the chief architect of the rallies, was detained in Moscow shortly after they began at 2 p.m. local time. Thousands came out on Moscow’s central Tverskaya street for the unsanctioned protests and were met by a heavy police presence, which began detaining demonstrators en masse around 30 minutes after the rallies began. According to media reports, protesters had blocked traffic on Tverskaya street.

Also in Moscow, a warning over a loudspeaker urged people to “think of the consequences” and disperse now.

Yes, indeed. There is nothing like threatening peaceful demonstrators with a moral message.

The demonstrations appear to amount to the largest coordinated protests in Russia since the street rallies that broke out in 2011 and 2012 after a parliamentary election that opposition leaders decried as fraudulent. State-run television was silent about Sunday’s protests as of midday, but pictures posted on social media sites like Twitter suggested that sizable rallies were underway across the country.

Dozens of arrests were reported in the far east city of Vladivostok, and more were likely as demonstrations began in Russia’s largest cities, Moscow and St. Petersburg. Authorities preemptively banned a rally that Navalny called for central Moscow. Putin’s spokesman has said that even urging people to take part is illegal....

This is from one of the Farmville 2 games from Zinga on Facebook.

I am trying to figure out the subliminal messaging. Either it is medical marijuana is a good thing or Big Pharma rocks.

When a grandmother all sorts of things come into focus.

Sometimes I wonder where Americans get their violent streak.

The children of Forest Lake Elementary School trod the boards in a dramatic reenactment of how the United States Constitution came to be. After the Revolution, the young United States was anything but united. The states acted like thirteen separate countries, with their own governments, laws, and currencies. It took bravery, smarts, and a lot of compromises to create a workable system of government under the new constitution.

There was a remake of the British Invasion called "The Beetles." They were on the right side of human trafficking, too. I was kinda proud of them. They had this morality that worked for me. "I wanna hold your hand." They were really fun.

THERE ARE FIFTY STATES, COUNT THEM, FIFTY!

THE ONLY SUPERPOWER until Donald Trump decided Russia should regain it's status in the world!

It is time to shake all the old bad habits, folks. "God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son." HE ONLY DID IT ONCE, did you notice that?

Christian History: (click here) In the first three centuries, Christians were pacifists. By 1096, they embarked on a holy war. What caused such a huge change?

Jonathan Riley-Smith: First, the early church was not entirely pacifist. In Romans 13, for example, Paul justifies the violence of the pagan emperor, for the emperor is yet a minister of God. And Christians served in the Roman army from the second century on.

Following the conversion of the emperors, in the fourth century, the church became more open to using violence. Church leaders, after an initial shock, began supporting the use of force against heretics.

Then Augustine formulated his theory of “just war,” but his terms effectively mean “holy war.” Augustine and the medieval world concluded that violence is not evil. Instead, violence is morally neutral. That makes a crusade possible....

There is a use for scientists. Wow.

The ornate shrine known as the Edicule encloses what is believed to be the tomb of Jesus Christ inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (click here for virtual tour) in Jerusalem. The shrine has just undergone a year-long restoration.

I like their style. They fix the most important stuff and then let everyone know there is still far more extensive work to be done. Not that the foundation work shouldn't have come first, but, tourism and pilgrims wouldn't be interested in the foundation. See, for me I would rather the foundation be done first even if there was no more money for the fancy stuff. Know what I mean? I wouldn't be walking into the building because the locals would have said, in a nearby cafe, the foundation is really shaky. Yep.

They have learned to live in a world dominated by capitalism, everything superficial is more important than any foundation the world has to offer, even the most important foundation for Christianity. Amazing. Survival. It always has it's place.

Scientists (click here) have discovered that there is a "very real risk" that the holiest site in Christianity may collapse if nothing is done to shore up its unstable foundations.
A scientific team from the National Technical University of Athens(NTUA), which has just completed the restoration of what is traditionally believed to be the tomb of Christ in Jerusalem, warns that additional work is needed to prevent the shrine and surrounding complex from experiencing significant structural failure.
"When it fails, the failure will not be a slow process, but catastrophic," says Antonia Moropoulou, NTUA's chief scientific supervisor....

There are too many guns on the street.

One person has been killed and 14 injured (click here) in a shooting at the Cameo Night Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Police initially said at least two shooters were involved, but Cincinnati Assistant Police Chief Paul Neudigate has since tweeted that there is "only one reported shooter".

There was no indication the shooting was terror-related, he said.

Several people have life-threatening injuries, Mr Neudigate told news channel WLWT-TV.

"We are in the middle of a very horrific situation that occurred at the nightclub with multiple victims. It's going to be a long night for our homicide units to investigate," he said....

This level of violence with mass shootings is becoming a daily event in the USA.

Does the high level of violence serve the extremist agenda?

Marchers and counterprotesters (click here) clashed Saturday at a Make America Great Again gathering in Huntington Beach after an anti-President Trump protester doused marchers with pepper spray.

The anti-Trump protester, dressed in all black and wearing a mask, attacked an organizer of the event, Jennifer Sterling, and other members of the march with the irritant, causing a group of marchers to tackle the masked man, punching and kicking him....
National Spinach Day (click here)

National Spinach Day is observed annually on March 26th.  Not only are there so many delicious ways that you can enjoy spinach, but it is also incredibly good for you!

Spinach is also a greenhouse plant (click here)

Greenhouses can continue the community garden. Be sure and have a water source. Once the plants become more mature they will produce their own water vapor to some extent.

Monitor soil moisture, not the amount of water, for optimal results.

Whiteclay, Nebraska has a predatory economy.

There should be tourism instilled into that economy. The town should have a hotel, at the very least, but, also Indian culture shops. The shops can be unique to the reservation and steeped in culture that includes holistic cures and Indian medicine.

...Now many residents (click here) of Nebraska and South Dakota are pushing for the liquor stores of Whiteclay to be shut, disgusted by the easy access to alcohol the stores provide to a people who have fought addiction for generations. The Nebraska authorities, in turn, have tightened scrutiny of the stores, which sell millions of cans of beer and malt liquor annually. Last year, for the first time, the state liquor commission ordered the stores’ six owners to reapply for their liquor licenses....

Whiteclay should talk about it's name with a town hall that carries it's history and current shame and conscience change. That is not to say beer and wine should not be sold in Whiteclay, but, only in the way of a beverage at dinner in the town's new bistro.

Sex trafficking, too? (click here) How many Native Americans, young and old, male and female are missing from the sovereign reservation of Pine Ridge.

History. The border town of Whiteclay has always been tied to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to the north within the state boundaries of South Dakota. ... The trading post developed as the unincorporated community of Pine Ridge, commonly known as Whiteclay.

Indian Reservations, until the past decade or so, were preyed upon for natural resources as well. Greed creates animals instead of human beings.

The wealth gap is never more evident than in Bermuda.

The promise of actions — not words (click here) — is what participants will pledge at an event addressing the impact of pain which has left Bermuda “under siege,” according to the organiser.
The Impact of Pain on Social Constructs will tomorrow night examine how pain — “caused by unresolved intergenerational trauma, gang violence, constant change, grief and loss, frustration and disenfranchisement” — manifests in the community. “This island is positioned for social unrest,” event organiser Sharon Apopa said.
According to the doctor, the event follows months of speaking with community members.
“If you have your ear to the ground in the community, you have seen an escalation in people’s emotions around the issues,” she said.
The event follows a recent spate of violence, including the fatal stabbing of Raymond Butterfield (click here) earlier this month.
It also comes on the heels of a recent public event and training for social services workers on the treatment of racial trauma by visiting clinician Kenneth Hardy in February.
Pastor Hollis Neal will serve as the event’s keynote speaker.
Trained as a psychologist — and with a background that includes educational experience — the former pastor at West Pembroke Pentecostal Assembly brings a wealth of experience, Dr Apopa said....
