Drought relief: When it rains it pours. The same seems to be true especially because of the Climate Crisis.

Unbelievable. The ITCZ is gone.

Is the air pattern obvious now? That entire air mass is suppose to be over the North Pole.

Intellicast USA Current Temperature in Fahrenheit (click here)

Below clear blue skies Friday, ( click here) people in the snow-shrouded ski town of Mammoth Lakes were gleeful that a series of storms on the way to the eastern Sierra Nevada could bring several more feet of snow.

Yet some also worried that the big, wet storm on tap for this weekend — known as an atmospheric river — could dump so much rain and snow that it could shut down some ski runs or roads.

The red marker is Mammoth Lakes, California. The residents of that city are somewhat ready for the storms. The Southeast of the USA should recommend employers to cancel workdays until the region is functional again. The people will not be able to cope and accidents will be many and has the potential to shut down roads. Leave everyone home.

The governments believe they are ready. They aren't ready. They might have plenty of plows and otherwise, but, the people are not used to driving in such harsh conditions. There is every reason for the Southeast to close down for a day or so.

I have been in 6 degree Fahrenheit weather the past three days. I have clothing that protects me when out in the weather. When the local evening news came on there were many, many people in accidents and several dead. These are folks that are used to harsh weather. The wind alone was proving to be far to harsh. There had to be at least 50 to 60 mph winds. There was a tractor trailer picked up and dumped on the side of the road in a gully. How do I know the truck was picked up by the wind? There were not tracks in the snow leading to a truck off the road. There is only one way it happened.

In preparation, snowplows were scraping icy roadways.  Excavators and snowblower operators stayed busy clearing and moving huge piles of snow. Some cars sat abandoned on the roadside or at gas stations, covered with thick blankets of snow from the most recent storm.

Outside Kittredge Sports, store manager Terry Lucian took advantage of the clear weather to shovel away some of the mounds of snow that had built up outside the entrance....

...“Everybody wants the snow, they just don’t want it while they’re here,” the 39-year Mammoth resident said. “It’ll be a rough couple of days, but we need the water. So it’s going to be OK.”

Some Mammoth locals agreed that the big, warm and wet storm expected starting Saturday might not be the best for skiing because much of it is expected to fall as rain at all but the highest elevations.

“I cannot recall a season that had so much lower elevation rain like we are having,” snow and weather blogger Steve Taylor wrote Friday on MammothSnowman.com. “The good news is there are colder storms now lined up for next week so we my get rain, but the next system should be all snow.”

No one in the USA is ready for this. The aftermath of the storms is very sad. There were so many accidents to talk about on the evening news, there was no time to play the film of children sledding down hills. There is a good chance they decided it was too cold outside to sled anyway.

This is the Climate Crisis and it should be obvious to everyone.

Why discuss it? There are too many guns on the street and another USA veteran has PTSD.

In Afghanistan and when we were in Iraq; when an American soldier killed innocent people they were provided a financial settlement. Why not here?

Woodland Park, N.J. — The alleged gunman (click here) who authorities say killed at least five people at the Fort Lauderdale airport Friday was an Army veteran who was born in New Jersey and a recent father who began to have problems about a month ago when a relative said he began to see things and “lost his mind.”

A federal law enforcement official who was not authorized to comment publicly confirmed the suspect’s name and date of birth as Esteban Santiago, born March 16, 1990.

Santiago was arrested after a shooting spree that began around noon at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and left five people dead and eight people wounded, according to law enforcement officials....
The Flint River Water Project is on going.

It is little consolation for Secretary Hillary Clinton, but, it explains a lot.

Washington — American intelligence officials (click here) have concluded that the president of Russia, Vladimir V. Putin, personally “ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election,” and turned from seeking to “denigrate” Hillary Clinton to developing “a clear preference for President-elect Trump.”...

...The report described a broad campaign that included covert operations, including cyberactivities and “trolling” on the internet of people who were viewed as opponents of Russia’s effort. While it accused Russian intelligence agencies of obtaining and maintaining “access to elements of multiple U.S. state or local electoral boards,” it concluded — as officials have publicly — that there was no evidence of tampering with the tallying of the vote on Nov. 8....

I am very worried. The campaigning Donald Trump is not the President Elect Donald Trump. He is reckless in his pursuit of power. He has proven he will do anything and then do as he pleases.

The USA has elected a President that is not the choice of the people. Secretary Clinton was elected by the people, not, Donald Trump. He continues to refuse to recognize the fact covert acts by Russia carried out a coup of the 2016 elections with ambitions even at the local level of governments.

The Congress has responsibility to investigate the lack of ethical standing of this President Elect when he hasn't revealed his taxes and how he has a relationship with Russia. It is a known fact The Trump Organization had an exclusive and secretive internet connection with Russia during the time there were sanctions. That is illegal.

The investigation needs to go forward and Congress needs to move on cyber attacks on political candidates. This is a very serious matter.

Stating that, Director Comey had an impact on the election of 2016. I want to know what that is all about, too. He had to know what he was doing when he continually reprimanded Secretary Clinton in public with the last attack on her character landed days before Americans voted.

The country is angry at the establishment. This is more to be angry about. Congress needs to correct the threat.

There are many more questions than there are answers currently. The country needs answers. I don't see any sanction being removed from Russia.

The President Elect will accumulate more and more distrust if he continues to build a relationship with Russia. He should be as appalled as the country is and bring enforcement to the current sanctions not reversing them.

The President Elect was gamed by Russian leadership. It is against the country's national security to return wealth to Russia. The sanctions are working. Obviously. Russia needs to return to Minsk II and mean it.
