It begins.

As Capitol Hill backslides into dysfunction and bickering, (click here) the capital city is taking matters into its own hands to get work done: Washington, DC, might soon be the first US city to fully decriminalize sex work.

With a progressive bill to overhaul the current enforcement approach to sex work, DC is trying to lessen sex workers’ involvement with the criminal-justice system and respect their autonomy. The move comes on the heels of campaigns by community advocates who say that, to genuinely protect sex workers, authorities should start by simply keeping them out of jail.

The “Reducing Criminalization to Promote Public Safety and Health Amendment Act” would repeal criminal penalties for adults engaged in sex work, whether they are purchasing or selling sex, and for operating a sex work–related place of business—what the law deems a “place used for the purpose of lewdness, assignation, or prostitution.”...

The people of the USA need to remember exactly what kind of billionaire Donald Trump is; hotels and casinos. These activities are common place for his establishments.

First, legalize prostitution, then comes kiddy porn (after all they are only looking), then comes touching parlors of 17 year olds that are homeless and exploited by pimps anyway.

Wouldn't things in the USA be so much more civilized and decriminalized and safer for the public is all these 'icky' businesses were legit.

A right wing journalist, NOT THE LEFT, is calling for legalization of prostitution.

This past Saturday night, (click here) while most of us were still recovering from overdosing on turkey and family, a 38-year-old woman leaped to her death from the third floor of a Queens apartment building.

She had an audience, but it wasn’t family. She was a prostitute, working above a massage parlor when she agreed to perform a sex act for money with a man she thought was safe.

He was, in fact, an undercover police officer, and when his backup entered the apartment to arrest her, she fled out the window. Other police officers waiting outside the building watched as she fell onto the sidewalk below. She died at the hospital the next day, of severe head and body trauma.

Her life may have been a small and troubled one. But this was no way for it to end. And it makes me think that it’s time to legalize prostitution.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m a conservative Republican woman. I hate everything about prostitution: how it exploits women, how it cheapens sex, and how often it can lead to violence. And it’s for all those reasons that I think it should now be legal.

It doesn’t need to take the tragic and totally unnecessary death of a young woman to see why. Efforts to combat prostitution and make it “safer” have failed....

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (click here) on Wednesday upheld the dismissal of a defamation suit brought by billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson against the National Jewish Democratic Council for a 2012 online petition that stated Adelson personally approved of prostitution in his Asian casinos.

The Democratic organization created the petition to urge then-Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to return Adelson’s campaign donations. Adelson—a major GOP donor—was said to have “dirty,” “tainted” money from his Chinese operations, which supposedly were allowing prostitution at Adelson’s behest. The petition linked to a report from The Associated Press of a former executive in Adelson’s Chinese operations claiming in court papers that Adelson was aware and approved of prostitution at his operations in Macau.

In 2013, the appellate court upheld, in part, a previous dismissal of the defamation suit for failure to state a claim, as well as Nevada’s strategic lawsuit against public participation (anti-SLAPP) statute designed to protect freedom of speech....

Women held in local jails (click here) represent the fastest growing population of incarcerated people in the US, according to a new study. The researchers found that trauma, sexual violence and mental health issues were all closely wrapped up with the swelling numbers.

“While we started to see a decline in the incarceration and jailing of men, we haven’t seen a comparable kind of trend for women,” said Laurie Garduque, director of Justice Reform for the MacArthur Foundation, which co-published the report with the Vera Institute. Since 1970, the number of women in US jails has increased by 14 times, far outstripping the growth in the male prison population, even though in raw numbers there remain many more men locked up....

...Sexual assault is also a common thread for women who find themselves in the criminal justice system. Women represent just 13% of the jail population, but make up more than two-thirds of the victims of staff-on-inmate sexual victimization. Eighty-six percent of women in jails reported experiencing sexual violence at some point in their life, roughly four times the rate of women in the US at large....

Robyn Allen stands in the prison yard at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center in McLoud, Oklahoma. Allen is one of about 1,200 prisoners, including one woman sentenced to death. Allen is serving a 20-year sentence for possession of 20 grams of methamphetamines.

Robyn Allen (click here) remembers the last time she saw her daughter. It was in an Oklahoma prison yard.
Allen, 52, hadn't seen her daughter, Cherise Greer, for two years when their paths crossed last summer at Mabel Bassett prison, the state's largest. Both were serving time for a 2013 methamphetamine conviction.
Greer was dressed in an orange jumpsuit and was being loaded into a van, headed to a minimum security prison in Oklahoma City. Greer and her mom weren't allowed to speak because their conviction stemmed from the same crime.
As the guard turned away, Allen called out, "I love you," to her daughter.
"She told me, 'I love you mom, please don't cry,'" Allen recalled as she wiped away tears.
At the time, Allen and her daughter were among more than 3,000 women serving time in the state. For over 25 years, Oklahoma has led the nation in the rate at which it sends women to prison. Roughly 151 of every 100,000 Oklahoma women are behind bars — twice the national average....

...Drugs and drug-related crimes, even simple possession, are some of the top reasons women enter the state's criminal justice system. And, they're staying longer. Stephens County, a mostly rural area where Allen is from, had the third-highest rate of women in prison. Allen is serving 20 years for possession of methamphetamines — two times longer than the state average....

These are the names of Oklahoma's private prisons, Cimarron in Cushing, OK; Davis in Holdenville, OK; Lawton in Lawtong, OK; Great Plains in Hinton, OK which is reported as vacant without stating why; the same is true for Diamondback, in Watonga, OK and North Fork at Sayre, OK.

Incarcerated women are a good income for Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City -  Oklahoma’s prison director (click here) wants state lawmakers to triple the agency’s budget in spite of a state budget shortfall and the possibility of another shortfall next year.

Corrections Director Joe Allbaugh said Wednesday the agency is seeking $1.53 billion next year including $813 million for two new medium-security prisons, $107 million in repairs to existing prisons and $10 million for across-the-board raises.

Allbaugh says the request is more than $1 billion more than the agency’s current $485 million budget but “represents exactly what our needs are right now.”

Gov. Mary Fallin says the agency’s needs will be reviewed in the budget process. Earlier this month, Fallin vetoed much of a bill to close a $215 million hole in the current budget and says next year’s shortfall is estimated at $600 million.

It just seems so odd that the Right Wing is advocating for legalizing prostitution when they already profit from it. Human Trafficking is a huge focus now in law enforcement and state legislatures are making the definitions so broad it will catch innocent people in it's net.

Two men forced six women (click here) into prostitution across southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey over the past three years, according to authorities.

Kenneth Crowell, 34, and Barry "Bear" Schiff, 50, are accused of running a human trafficking ring from 2014 until October of this year, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced. In Pennsylvania, the ring operated in Philadelphia and Montgomery County, in addition to Lancaster and York counties.

An investigation began when Pennsylvania state troopers found an advertisement for a prostitute on the website Backpage, according to authorities. Two undercover troopers arranged to meet the prostitute at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster.

When police identified themselves to the victim, the woman told them she didn't feel safe, Shapiro said.

She went on to explain that Crowell and Schiff had recruited her while she was working at a gentleman's club in York. Schiff bragged about selling opioid pills and heroin to the women working for him in order to control them, she told investigators. He threatened her with a knife when she said she didn't like him buying and supplying heroin in the hotel room where she worked, the woman claimed....

As a little side note; remember Seattle, Washington where the minimum wage was hiked to $15.00 per hour. The economy is booming there. The economy has gotten so impressive it is attracting prostitution.

The social conscience regarding prostitution has become so pronounced in Washington State, the "Spokesman Review" (click here) out of Spokane published an article from 100 years ago about "Purity Squads."

It is my guess the women in Washington State are enjoying at least $15.00 per hour for their work, so legalizing prostitution is probably not a reality for them.

The Left does not own this problem. The Left finds solutions that work. We need to remove human trafficking from the USA and provide women and children with safe and sane lives.

Legalizing sex work will create more victims, not less. Poverty and the Working Poor are still front and center as a problem "The Left" needs to hold dear. Ask oneself, "What age does sex work require a retirement income?"

Zero tolerance to child sexual abuse and sexual abuse of women.

There is absolutely a need for the US Congress, including the US Senate, to hold every sexual predator within their midst accountable and that includes Donald Trump. There are valid reasons to investigate his predatory past. The USA Congress, including the US Senate, has the right to compel testimony from witnesses that have signed non-disclosure statements. This needs to be done going forward. The investigation needs to begin and every obstacle it finds needs to be revealed and forced to move forward until all facts are known and the American people are made aware of all the facts. There is absolutely no way a non-disclosure statement related to such sexual abuse should be hidden from the public.

Leigh Corfman is a living example of the way sexual predators make their way into places of power within the governments across this country. There are movements within the USA that would like to see rights for these predators. The domestic abusers are already too powerful in having rights to weapons that kill, especially guns. To empower a President, with known sexual tastes to look at girls in a dressing room of a beauty pageant, to dismiss reality hurts every women in this country.

It is time to empower women and not the sexual predators that have caused them pain, even as children.

If Donald Trump was known to be looking at girls in a dressing room, he would be no different than sexual predators looking at child porn. It is the same exact thing, except, his reality was real flesh and blood girls and not pictures on the internet or in pictures marketed to that population of people.

If there is one thing about the "W" administration that no one can take away from him, it is his stand and pursuit of human trafficking. The USA was far behind in protecting children and vulnerable men and women. I would think advancing the protections against child victims of all definitions would be at the forefront of any Republican agenda. Allowing a President with known leanings of pedophilia is counter by every measure advanced by President George W. Bush.

Today, there is a man running for the US Senate accused of violating at least one young girl. He should never enter the Senate and if he should there needs to be a complete investigation to him and his supporters.

The time is now. It can be tolerated no more.

Powerful men (click here) with long histories of alleged sexual harassment or assault are finally being held accountable — except one. That would be President Trump.

From movie mogul Harvey Weinstein to television host Charlie Rose to Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore to veteran Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), prominent men are accused of using their status to take advantage of women in unconscionable ways. To my knowledge, however, only one of the alleged assailants has been caught on tape bragging about his misdeeds.

“I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her,” Trump said on the “Access Hollywood” tape, referring to a woman he had just spotted. “You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. . . . Grab ’em by the p----. You can do anything.”...

Leigh Corfman needs two things; support from the women in Alabama and around the country and a political non-profit to advance the rights of child victims.

This is the way sexual predators, adulterers and men who see women only as sexual objects defend themselves. They victimize the victim.

This is the classic pattern of men sexual abusers. They blame the victim. Sorry, but, there simply can't be that many liars in the USA. These women are good people who have encountered a sexual abuser of one kind or another. They are good people and are very courageous. Not all female courage takes place on a war battlefield, sometimes it is within their own lives and within their own homes or home towns.

Every woman or child victim knows the hurt of the emotional pain, if not physical pain, from these men. They often keep everything to themselves for years if not decades because of the fear that gripped them at the time they were assaulted, raped or fondled.

In the case of Leigh Corfman she is very typical of the aftermath of the sexual abuse. She has empowered herself to stand up to speak the truth and now she is confronting the liars. Leigh Corfman needs the support of other women in Alabama who have received the same treatment by other sexual predators. Leigh Corfman needs the support of American women to sustain her platform and bring it forward to end the SUCCESS of these predators.

Roy Moore has been a sexual predator. If Leigh Corfman had support as a young girl to report his abuse of her, he would be on a sexual predator list and never allowed near children again. Even today, he would be on a sexual predator list and never allowed to have contact with children again. Children still need protection from him and now is the time to take that stand.

There comes a point in time when American women have to end this phenomena of "victimizing the victim." It could be them. Women must be empowered, taken seriously and supported in accusations of men that are predators into their lives.

Roy Moore calls up the word God all too frequently. No Christian God would allow such abuse of children. Roy Moore uses God as a political stunt to hide behind because he has lived an egregious life.

Roy Moore sexually abused young girls. Children. Everyone that supports him is supporting an agenda that lacks any kind of morality. This method of denying the truth to gain power over money and laws has to end. Leigh Corfman and every other women sexual abused by Moore has to be supported to end this victimization of women.

Leigh Corfman is a typical victim who was silenced out of fear until now by her predator. This has to end.

Leigh Corfman, (click here) who says Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore touched her sexually when she was 14 and he was 32, has written him an emotional letter insisting he stop calling her a liar.

Corfman wrote and hand-delivered the letter to AL.com Tuesday after hearing that Moore, now the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama, had called her and several other women’s accusations “completely false” and “malicious” at a campaign rally in Henagar, Ala., on Monday night. It was his first public appearance in almost two weeks....

President Obama will receive warm welcomes from foreign leaders, but, he won't a tranquilizer.

I think President Obama is in an enviable position to bring America's best face to foreign leaders, but, I doubt he will be able to change their point of view. He can bring insight and opinions, but, world leaders are quite aware of their reality.

November 28, 2017

Now a private citizen, (click here) former President Barack Obama re-emerged on the global stage Tuesday as he opened a three-country tour that includes meetings with the leaders of China and India, just as President Trump courts those same world powers.

During a five-day trip, Obama will mix paid speeches with foreign leader meetings and even a town hall event for young people, the signature event that Obama became known for around the world during his eight years in office. He'll finish the trip in France, where he'll give one of several speeches planned during the trip.

The tour continues a longstanding tradition of former U.S. presidents traveling overseas after leaving office, especially as they work to attract donations and other support for their foundations, libraries and presidential centers. But Obama's trip may garner particular attention, given that many foreign countries are still uncertain about Mr. Trump's foreign policy and may look to his predecessor to help explain America's current direction.

"Barack Obama is the great explainer to the rest of the world of what the heck is going on in America," said Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian at Rice University. "He's a calming influence in a world that's teetering on frenzy right now. Obama arrives and it reminds them of old-style diplomacy and the dignity of statesmanship."...

Who installed the button?

30 November 2017

Sacked US Today host Matt Lauer (click here) has been accused of sexual harassment by three women, as horrifying details of his alleged misbehaviour come to light.

Variety spoke with a number of his accusers, reporting that the ousted breakfast host had a secret button installed under the desk in his office, which was in a secluded space.

The button allegedly meant he could lock the door from the inside without getting up.

"It allowed him to welcome female employees and initiate inappropriate contact while knowing nobody could walk in on him, according to two women who were sexually harassed by Lauer," Variety reports....

Women need to continue their demand for work that is safe from their male peers. It would seem this idiocy is so rampant there is no stopping it.

...Lauer was one of the highest paid news anchors in the world - and in March it was revealed he paid $13m for a high country station in New Zealand's South Island on the shore of Lake Hawea....

He is going to need it. Soon, he will be a man without a country that will give him a job. This degree of assault, so well planned, is criminal.

Then again, it is only criminal unless one is wealthy and gets whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

I congratulate Prime Minister May on asserting her view on these exploitative videos.

No country knows better the dangers and threats of terrorism. But, the United Kingdom has been more successful than not in finding threats and ending them.

Conversations about exploitative videos is propaganda. It is political propaganda sought to instill hate. Hate is as much an enemy as any terrorist if nations of people start pointing fingers at each other.

These particular videos are intended to instill hate. They are brought forward by White Supremacists looking to continue a foothold on a political platform engaged for the purpose of destroying an American democracy that is comprised of honest, hard working and a diverse nation of people.

All faiths carrying forward belief in peace are welcome to the USA. Muslim Americans line the streets of the USA and are welcome to contribute to the varied ethnic blanket that covers the USA. We are not a country that hates. We are a country that believes in the potential of all people determined to live a good quality of life. Muslim Americans are among those people. These videos are intended to instill hate and victimize innocent people.

Fear and hate walk hand in hand many times. Prime Minister May is stating the obvious, there is no room in this world for such hate mongering film. What follows such videos is fear. Fear can cripple people within their own lives, even though a real threat does not exist.

Since the advent to Daesh the world has grown closer together in many ways and is determined to end such terrorism. These videos are simply trying to reignite the fear of the past and translate it into a political movement that will follow through with plans to end diversity in the USA and elsewhere. Here again, we must stand together to end the hate these videos propagate and continue the path of peace for all generations.

I have to apologize to Prime Minister May. It would seem as though Ms. Huckabee - Sanders is as estranged from good and moral values than most of the administration she represents. She knows, when making statements, these are videos promulgated by White Supremacists. She has no decency in her character.

November 29, 2017

Donald Trump (click here) has retweeted three inflammatory videos from a British far-right group.

The first tweet from Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, claims to show a Muslim migrant attacking a man on crutches.

This was followed by two more videos of people Ms Fransen claims to be Muslim.

Responding to Mr Trump's posts, UK Prime Minister Theresa May's official spokesman said it was "wrong for the president to have done this".

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Mrs May and other world leaders knew that "these are real threats that we have to talk about".

"Whether it's a real video, the threat is real," she said....

This is absolutely disgusting and nothing but pure greed because there is a loop hole in protecting national parks for all generations.

There are more than 40 national parks (click here) around the U.S. in which the federal government owns the surface but not the rights to the minerals underneath. Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona recently introduced legislation that would repeal a rule designed to provide reasonable safeguards from private oil and gas development within national parks. His hope is that the previous administration’s final efforts to improve those safeguards will be rolled back, revoking the National Park Service’s new authorities over oil & gas drilling and leaving them unable to enact any similar regulations or new safety standards unless Congress explicitly authorizes them to – and we know how unlikely that is.

Our National Parks are celebrated worldwide, and we assume that our representatives want to keep them in pristine shape for generations to come – given that 86% of Americans of all stripes want to keep them free of oil and gas drilling. Just not Congressman Gosar, who’s received almost $250,000 from oil and gas interests in his last four election campaigns....

I think it says it all. Gosar is a Catholic in name only.

Apparently (click here) the recent rash of devastating floods, wildfires and rising temperatures in the Southwest isn’t enough for Arizona congressman Paul Gosar to believe in climate change. By now, you’ve probably heard that Gosar, a Catholic Republican, boycotted Pope Francis’ historic address to a joint session of Congress on Sept. 24, where the Pontiff discussed the issue of global warming.

“If the Pope plans to spend the majority of his time advocating for flawed climate change policies,” Gosar said in a September statement on TownHall.com, “then I will not attend.”

Gosar insisted the Pope should turn his focus to challenging governments to address “persecution...enslavement, belittlement, and rape of Christian women and children,” and of course “intentionally planned genocide of unborn children by Planned Parenthood.”

Planned genocide. Right....

Gosar is a selective Catholic that decides if the Holy Father is right or wrong.

...Heat is one factor (click here) that will make Phoenix less hospitable to human habitation in the foreseeable future. “It’s currently the fastest warming big city in the US,” meteorologist and former Arizona native Eric Holthaus tells Vice. A study by Climate Central finds that Phoenix will likely be three to five degrees hotter in the summer months by 2050. The average number of 100 degree days will increase from 40 a year today to more than 132 a year. To put that in some perspective, New York City currently experiences two 100 degree days a year. Climate Central expects that number to increase to 15 a year by 2050.

In 2015, 85 Phoenix Maricopa County residents died from causes associated with the heat. In 2016, 130 did so. Arizona State University climatologist David Hondula tells Vice that those deaths cannot be directly tied to climate change, but he warns that increasing temperatures will require Phoenix, which is located within the county, to step up its game when it comes to “social service programs, homeless shelters, the opioid epidemic,” and other “intermediating factors. If we’re not paying attention to those at the same time we’re keeping an eye on the thermometers, we might really miss some drivers and some threat magnifiers.”

Heat is not the only factor making the Phoenix area less hospitable to humans. Hondula says that lack of water could be more of a problem than rising temperatures. “As much as 20 percent of the river could dry up by 2050,” he says. The majority of the drinking water for the area comes from the Colorado River — the same source that much of southern California depends on....

The Hague - More than 96% of chemical weapons (click here) have been destroyed in the world, Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Director General Ahmet Uzumcu said, addressing the 22nd Session of the Conference of the State Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention.

"With regard to the overall progress in destruction, to date the Secretarial has verified the elimination of 67,851 metric tonnes of category one chemical weapons, which equals to over 96% of the total 70,494 metric tonnes declared by the possessor states parties," he said....

A file photo (click here) from 1995 provided by a Japanese government research team shows Japanese chemical weapons left behind at the end of World War II in the northern Chinese district of Haerbaling, Jilin province.

The Hague - A Chinese official Tuesday (click here) called on the Organization for the Prohibition of chemical Weapons (OPCW) to give particular and necessary attention to ensuring the destruction of chemical weapons abandoned by Japan (Japanese ACWs)in China.

Wu Ken, China's permanent representative to The Hague-based OPCW, made the remarks at the 22nd conference of the State Parties of the OPCW.

"Given the fact that the destruction of Japanese ACWs has a direct impact on the realisation of the core objects and purposes of the Convention, the lofty goal of building a world free from CWs will never be truly achieved so long as Japanese ACWs have not been eliminated," Wu said.

Japanese ACWs have been discovered at over 90 locations in 17 provinces in China. They are projectiles, mortars, aerial bombs, liquid-filled drums and gas-filled pots containing chemical agents such as sulfur mustards, lewisite and phosgene, etc.

They have been found dumped in densely populated areas, in nature reserves and in rivers and lakes, as well as off shore. Due to their age, these munitions are rusty, damaged and often leaking. Some also contain explosives.

At Haerbaling in northeast China's Jilin province alone, the largest Japanese ACWs burial site discovered in China up to now, it is estimated that around 330,000 pieces of such weapons remain buried....

HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani addressing the 22nd session of the conference of the states parties to the convention on the prohibition of the development, production, use and destruction of chemical weapons in The Hague.

Qatar has affirmed (click here) its support for the continuation of the joint mechanism of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and the United Nations in Syria until those responsible for the use of chemical weapons are identified and brought to justice.

It reiterated its commitment to its international obligations to maintain peace and security in the world, combat terrorism in all its forms and contribute to the stability, security and prosperity of humanity.

HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani, Qatar's permanent representative to OPCW, made the remarks at the 22nd session of the conference of the states parties to the convention on the prohibition of the development, production, use and destruction of chemical weapons in The Hague.

Since Qatar joined the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani said, it has made great efforts in implementing all the articles of the convention and supporting its activities, adding that in implementation of Article 7, the National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons (NCPW) was established in 2004 to be the body responsible for taking measures for the co-ordination, implementation and follow-up of the procedures of the convention inside the country and abroad....

Can the president unilaterally launch a nuclear strike? And what are the checks in place to stop an unlawful order from the president

...Sean Illing (click here)

Let me start with a simple but important question: Can the president unilaterally launch a nuclear strike?

Peter Feaver

No. But the wording of your question is very precise. Can he launch a strike “unilaterally”? No. He requires other people to carry out an order, so he can't just lean on a button and automatically the missiles fly. But he has the legal and political authority on his own to give an order that would cause other people to take steps which would result in a nuclear strike. That’s the system we currently have.

Sean Illing

So there’s no magic lever the president can pull to send us into nuclear war, but I’m trying to imagine the contexts in which the president might give the order.

Peter Feaver

Well, there are two that come to mind. One is that the president is woken up in the middle of the night and told he has only 30 minutes or less to make a decision because we are under attack or about to be attacked, and of course that means hundreds if not thousands of people in the national security complex who've been monitoring world events and passed through various protocols have concluded this is what's happening, and we need an answer from the president. In that context, the system is designed to be able to carry out an order in that narrow time span, and he alone would have the legal authority to give that order if he's still alive....
Even when there is no disease, unusually early puberty can have adverse effects on social behavior and psychological development, can reduce adult height potential, and may shift some lifelong health risks. Central precocious puberty can be treated by suppressing the pituitary hormones that induce sex steroid production. The opposite condition is delayed puberty.

When there is underlying disease early puberty is called precocious puberty.

There are reasons pedophilia is against the law.

Sean Hannity is a liar. He lies all the time. He lies because he likes power. FOX News is political power. There is nothing benevolent about it. Murdoch likes power, too and completely backs all the liars in his fold.

November 8, 2017

When he finally went to bed early (click here) in the morning on Oct. 2, Sean Hannity had a good sense, as he typically does, of how he would structure that night’s Fox News Channel broadcast. He’d lead with Puerto Rico, and a defense of the Trump administration’s hurricane relief efforts, before moving on to the N.F.L. players who continued to kneel during the national anthem before games. But by the time he woke up, a few hours later — Hannity rarely sleeps more than four hours a night, a trait he shares with his friend President Trump — the screen of his iPhone was jammed with alerts of a shooting in downtown Las Vegas, where a man named Stephen Paddock had opened fire on the attendees of a country-music festival. Dozens were dead, hundreds injured. “What the hell is going on?” Hannity recalls thinking....

Perhaps if Hannity took melatonin at night he might sleep better, be less psychotic due to sleep deprivation and actually value the truth.

There is a gland in the body of a newborn that continues to serve the child known as the pineal gland.

...First up, (click here) let’s talk about the pineal gland as an endocrine gland in the brain.  This gland produces melatonin, which is responsible for :
  • our sleep cycles and therefore quality of sleep
  • regulating the onset of puberty
  • preventing aging
These alone, are extremely important reasons to take care of our pineal gland.  But actually, my friend, there is an even more important reason to protect your child’s pineal gland....

There are reasons why pedophilia is illegal. There are physiological reasons a child looks like a child. The pineal gland has a great deal to do with that. The pineal gland does not work forever in adult bodies the way it does in children's bodies. There is a reason the secondary sexual characteristics of adults happen during puberty. THAT WAS DURING PUBERTY. That means puberty is a lengthy process by which children are not sexual beings.

  • Complete puberty and the physical transition from childhood to adulthood
  • Reach nearly their adult height, especially females (males continue to grow taller into their early twenties.)
Puberty is not completed until a human child reaches 18 years old. This is not a myth, this is fact. Because they are DEVELOPING secondary sex characteristics they look sexual to the mature adult eye, HOWEVER, there is absolutely nothing sexual about their understanding of the world!

Children to the age of 17 are NOT ready for an adult sexual relationship, they are definitely not ready for marriage, they are absolutely not ready for child bearing or the rearing of children. If anyone thinks for one minute 'dating younger women' is an option ANYWHERE in the country, they are perverts. Simple as that PERVERTS.

Any man who thinks it is okay to walk through dressing rooms with girls or women to inspire "THEIR DEPORTMENT," that man is a pervert. That is correct a pervert. Women do not need to be a show horse ready for breeding in dressing rooms or anywhere else. A woman's deportment is not about SEX!

11 January 2010

The word deportment (click here) sounds like it hails from another era, one in which girls were taught elocution to help them speak the Queen’s English and everyone wrote thank you letters with a fountain pen. It’s also a term associated with the image of girls parading with piles of books on their heads while being barked at by a woman with a cane....

Deportment is not about posture! A woman is feminine because they are a woman. There is no formula to be female. There is no posture, there is set of rules for looking female.

There are no rules for a woman to be a woman or for a girl to grow up thinking one girl is more a female than she is.

Any idea that deportment in any manner is a proper standard to MEASURE a woman's femininity has to be met with strong criticism as harassment of the female gender.

The Infamous Access Hollywood tape (click here) in which Donald Trump brags about his ability to “grab” women with impunity because he’s famous is realAccess Hollywood‘s hosts asserted on Monday—just in case the president had any doubts.

In response to a report that Trump was questioning the authenticity of the 2005 hot-mic recording, which captured the former reality TV star saying he could “grab [women] by the pussy,” Access Hollywood host Natalie Morales said on Monday’s show that the tap is, in fact, “very real.”

“We wanted to clear something up that has been reported across the media landscape. Let us make this perfectly clear: The tape is very real,” Morales said. “Remember his excuse at the time was ‘locker room talk.’ He said every one of those words.”...

He gawked at teenagers, beauty queens and grabbed innocent women in his presence. Enough!

The Tax Cuts the Republicans are seeking will lead to $1.5 Trillion added to the USA Deficit.

That indebtedness to the USA Treasury will trigger a "PAYGO" law. The PAYGO law automatically removes large amounts of money from public program funding,  including Medicare.

"W" tried the same thing after he was re-elected in 2004 when he asked for $2 Trillion from SSI.

PAYGO, (click here) which stands for “pay-as-you-go,” is a budget rule requiring that (using current law as the baseline) tax cuts as well as increases in entitlement and other mandatory spending must be covered by tax increases or cuts in mandatory spending. It does not apply to discretionary spending (spending that is controlled through the appropriations process)....

The talking points are nonsensical. The entire package cuts all sorts of taxes and is stated to give monies to the middle class and families. What the talking points of the plan doesn't say is the costs to the country when all is said and done. The Republican Tax Plan is a "Give Away Program" that is a 'feel good feeling' until the reality of the National Debt achieves 100 percent of GDP.

Basically, it is a political trick.

If this was a real tax plan there would be public hearings over the span of time of years to compile the ideas and directions Americans would like their tax structure to take. This is horse hockey full of giveaways that our children and grandchildren will be paying for for decades.

The White House (click here) released principles and a framework for tax reform today. We applaud the President's focus on tax reform, but the plan includes far more detail on how the Administration would cut taxes than on how they would pay for those cuts. Based on what we know so far, the plan could cost $3 to $7 trillion over a decade– our base-case estimate is $5.5 trillion in revenue loss over a decade. Without adequate offsets, tax reform could drive up the federal debt, harming economic growth instead of boosting it.

The framework proposes a number of specific changes including: consolidating and reducing individual income tax rates to 10, 25, and 35 percent; doubling the standard deduction; cutting the business tax rate to 15 percent on both corporations and pass-through businesses; repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) and estate tax; repealing the 3.8 percent investment surtax from the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare"); moving to a territorial tax system; and imposing a one-time tax on money held overseas.

The plan also includes some vaguer proposals, including "providing tax relief for families with child and dependent care expenses" and eliminating "targeted tax breaks that mainly benefit the wealthiest taxpayers." Although the framework itself is vague on the latter, at their press conference Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin and National Economic Director Gary Cohn seemed to imply it meant repealing all individual deductions unrelated to savings, charitable giving, or mortgage interest (revenue would come mostly from repealing the state and local tax deduction)....

What is the hurry?

Even with the detailed portions of the plan, there are not enough parameters specified to provide a certain revenue estimate of the tax plan.
