This is what is curious about Trump's rise to power.

And make no doubt about it, it is power he and his cabinet is after. They have no interest in the American people.
His approval and disapproval numbers have never made sense.

...Trump’s numbers (click here) have dipped since Gallup’s December survey, when the public split 48 percent to 48 percent on approval versus disapproval. They have also remained steadily and starkly split by political party, with 87 percent of Republican approving of Trump’s transition in the January poll compared to 86 percent last month. The percentage of Democrats who approve fell to 13 percent in January from 17 percent in December.
Part of the President-elect’s historically low numbers seems to be the public’s lackluster view of his Cabinet picks. Trump’s nominees were rated “below average/poor” by 44 percent of respondents, compared to only 10 percent of Obama’s and 13 percent of Bush’s nominees....

This is what I was concerned about from the beginning. He is an outlier. It is a place where an extremist agenda can hide and then use media to drive voters into believing they are going to benefit from their extremist views.

Trump has proven he can sell anything, even a return to government that hates Americans. But, he cannot govern. The cabinet is a stark reality of his lack of ABILITY to lead and make decisions that move a country forward. These cabinet picks will return the USA to 1776 and an alliance with an old ally, Russia, at a time when Putin is losing his standing among those that once believed in him.

In a rare move, (click here) Russian President Vladimir Putin has backed away from his support for unpopular new anti-terrorism laws dubbed the "Spring Package." Putin said during a meeting Tuesday night with his party, United Russia, that the laws may need to be "adjusted to not put people in a difficult position." Putin's concession comes as his control over his traditionally consolidated government is increasingly uncertain and the country is in the midst of a two-year election cycle.

The Spring Package had been proposed in June, just weeks before Putin signed it into law, by a group of hawkish lawmakers known for such draconian measures as the "foreign agent" laws restricting funding for nongovernmental organizations and legislation criminalizing homosexuality. The new security laws vastly expand the definition of terrorism and the government's ability to monitor potential terrorist activity. They categorize any public incitement of unrest or armed rebellion as terrorism. Even discussions of such activity in either mass or social media, or the failure of parties with knowledge of such discussions to disclose who partook in them, could be considered a criminal offense. Russian telecommunications companies are required to store all Russian users' data (texts, calls and online activity) for three years for the government to monitor, and the Federal Security Service (FSB) will have access to all encrypted data....

Putin's party is becoming more extreme and more desperate. They are moving farther right and placing all hopes that religious bigotry (ie: Donald Trump) will bring them power and happiness.

This is NOT the time for the USA to be extending it's hand in reconciliation to drill for oil and increase the wealth of Russia. Trump's cabinet is the last of the attempts to have the petroleum industry profit. It is counter productive because it will increase the already existing glut.

In the petroleum circles this week the conversations are about pushing the price per barrel of oil to $60.00. They state it will provide the basis to increased drilling again. Increased drilling will only repeat the cycle of failure we have witnessed in the past two years.

Donald Trump has the wrong idea about everything. Measuring his values by his cabinet picks he wants to destroy the public school system. In some states where the "Ulta White" already exist such as the North Carolina Republican State Congress, parents are already being encouraged to consider 'Computer School" rather than actual socialized school classrooms.

Republicans accept an agenda of education that dummy's down the public including reading skills. When an adult does not read well they accept verbal information as the authority for decisions in their lives. Need I state more to realize a 'dummied down' public is one lead around by it's nose to the direction of their lives. Such a social paradigm fits perfectly into Republican Party values and tactics.

The Clinton White House called for Americans to be "Lifetime Learners." He was correct. Americans have to educate themselves frequently if not daily to current events and THE TRUTH.

The Democrats need to return to their natural state of educating the public and bringing them accurate and important information. They will get no help from FOX. FOX has an insider track to power and will alienate Americans from their democracy. The greatest chance of turning that around is for the Democrats to find an information channel for the FORMER WOMEN OF FOX.

...NPR points out that the “death panel” discussions (click here) definitely had the dumb impact we all feared it did, with only 18 percent of respondents realizing that the ACA didn’t put limits on end-of-life care. Of course, Republicans knew the least about the ACA and healthcare questions when asked, but you can’t expect much from a group of people that have Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan as their leaders. If you would like to look at a visualization of this healthcare ignorance, you can check out Chris Reeves recent diary on the matter.

Ready for this? The wacko "Ultra White" moralists are on the loose.

Washington — Two Republicans in Congress (click here) have introduced a resolution that would stop the District of Columbia from allowing terminally ill patients to end their own lives with the help of a doctor.

Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser signed the “Death with Dignity” law last month after it was approved by the liberal D.C. Council.

Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma and Rep. Brad Westrup of Ohio introduced companion resolutions on Thursday that would invalidate the law.

Congress has various ways to block local laws in the District, and it’s extremely rare for a disapproval resolution to pass both the House and Senate. The last was in 1991.

Bowser says in a statement that Lankford and Westrup are “attempting to sidestep the democratic process in order to impose their personal beliefs” on the city....

The "Ultra White" are cowards. They are afraid of becoming a minority in the USA. Their so called "peaceful ethnic cleansing" is not working and powers the drive for the USA's southern wall.

I can't believe the Democrats can't return to politics that bring people the message of peace and prosperity from an administration that is AGAIN all talk with no results.

EDUCATE THE PUBLIC!
