There was singing, standing and swaying and clapping to the music and that was just the audience.

The Kennedy Center Honors (click here)

It was spectacular. The Honorees were James Taylor, Mavis Staples, Martha Argerich, Al Pacino and The Eagles.

How deep does the Trump dung get before we all need shovels?

There have been no policy changes that impacted the economy since November 2016.

Wall Street increases are connected to the corruption anticipated with insider information and trading with Goldman Sachs appointees and nominations into the Trump administration.

It will be the best joke going when the insider information that would lend to insider trading doesn't happen because "Old Big Mouth" will be any Goldman Sachs employee to the punch to claim all earnings for himself; just like he is doing now.

It is a sincere concern there are Goldman Sachs employees working with this administration in the face of the 2008 collapse. It will happen again if they leverage in favor of speculation and derivatives. The gambling has to end and it would admirable if it ended through the ethical conduct of the executives that saw the last collapse through.

I remind, the real estate bundling is still occurring.

Consumer confidence is up because they have jobs, which will disappear under Trump's Department of Labor. It should be interesting to compare December 2016 to December 2017 and the condition of the middle class.

Boehner's invitation to Netanyahu to speak to the US House has nothing to do with the vote at the United Nation's Security Council. That is a petty complaint intended for lousy politics.

Interestingly, Boehner's invitation of Netanyahu, forced the right wing in Israel to turn out to put Netanyahu over the top in the elections. The extremists are the only voters in Israel that still wanted a Neocon as Prime Minister.

Borders are not usually a hotly contested issue with Israel. In 1982, Israel removed settlements and military posts from the Sinai Peninsula with great success and peace when the Prime Minister was Menachem Begin.

When the Prime Minister was Ariel Sharon in 2005 settlements were removed from the Gaza Strip. Hamas moved into the void as anticipated and began sending Katyusha rockets over the border in 2007.

The answer to this dilemma seems to be leadership and the ability of parties to carry out peace initiatives. Egypt was no more a friend of Israel than Palestine is today.

The problem between Palestine and Israel is the continued contraction of the West Bank. I've stated this before and it holds true today, the only Palestinian territory that hasn't contracted is the Gaza Strip. That is more than interesting while Israel states peace with Palestine demands a far more passive Hamas. I don't think that will ever be forthcoming as long as the West Bank continues to have land lost to Israeli settlements.

She ushered in a strong role model for women.

E! News confirms the Star Wars actress had a heart attack while aboard a flight from London to Los Angeles Friday, about 15 minutes before the plane was scheduled to land. Speaking on behalf of Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd, family's spokesman Simon Hallsannounced she died Tuesday. "It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning," he told E! News a statement. "She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers."...

Military veteran status is granted to the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) who flew during WWII.

The number of women in the military has been growing steadily since. Today, there are women in command positions.

At the September 28 CNN Townhall meeting with President Barack Obama (click here) and a military group at Fort Lee, VA, Marine Capt. Lauren Serrano courageously asked a respectful but challenging question about women in direct ground combat  Capt. Serrano’s question was accurate and appropriately asked of the Commander-in-Chief.  President Obama did not explain why he ignored the best professional advice of the Marine Corps on the issue of women in the infantry....

Actresses like Carrie Fisher helps provide a strong spine for the women in the USA.

She will be missed.

Israel continued to fail in it's peace talks. There was no other choice.

The USA media seems to think that Israel and Palestine should be engaging in peace talks. That would be nice, but, none exist and therefore other measures are necessary. I mean really now, the idea the USA can allow the genocide of Palestinians while blind to the truth means the USA media is hostile to peace between the two nations of people and genocide of Palestinians is appropriate.

The USA media is nothing more than propaganda in regard to Israel and Palestine and may be contributing to the lack of peace initiative.

The peace talks between the two nations of people lasted for two years. The USA media was too entrenched in ratings wars with Trump they never bothered to realize the real world was still spinning. My bad, Trump didn't announce until May 2015.

Where was the peace talks coverage? Nowhere. The peace talks began in 2012 and ended with no resolution while Israel continued to march into Palestinian lands for the sake of settlements. Actions taken by Israel were proof any agreement would never be coming forth. It was another show of power by Israel and the talks were for their own propaganda reason.

See, a USA President is suppose to ceremoniously resolve a peace treaty. It is all propaganda that allows for settlements to continue. Just so long as their is the ceremony of a peace treaty all is suppose to be right with the world. Well, it isn't and President Obama wasn't about to sign a ceremonious agreement.

The U.S. special envoy for peace talks, Martin Indyk, (click here) is considering resigning following the blowup of talks between Israel and the Palestinians, and in light of President Barack Obama’s intention to suspend American mediation, according to Israeli officials in Jerusalem who are close to the matter. The officials asked to remain anonymous due to the issue’s sensitivity.

The officials said Indyk had already informed the Brookings Institute – where he is vice president and director for foreign policy – that he might soon be returning to his post, from which he took a leave of absence nine months ago. Two senior officials at Brookings approached by Haaretz with questions on the matter each responded, “No comment.”

In Jerusalem, it is believed that Indyk is the senior American official – anonymously quoted in a report published Friday in the Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth – mainly blaming Israel for the failure of the talks. According to the report, the senior official claimed that “the main damage to the peace talks comes from the settlements,” and that, during the talks, “Netanyahu did not move more than an inch.”...

This vote isn't about Israel, it is about Palestine and it's right to exist.

Prime Minister Netanyahu was elected in the say way Trump was elected, in a right wing wave. Both can be replaced, too.

Israel has a great deal to be grateful for when the a unified global community cut out a portion of biblical historic land became Israel. Now, nearly seven decades later Israel has expanded it's boundaries multiple times, caused the organization of Hamas, saw a revolutionary icon die and now because of it's ideology the Palestinians are suppose to disappear off the map. That disappearance is genocide.

Palestine is allowed to exist. The Palestinian people need a homeland no different than Israelis did 68 years ago. The vote in the United Nations is long overdue, with the USA standing with the Palestinians to prevent genocide of their people.

Israel full well knows genocide is more than wiping out an ethnic people, it is the removal of borders, the defeat of culture and the calculated end of an exclusive ethnicity. Israel should be grateful for the resolution of the United Nations as it ends the demands of settlers and radicals.

Mr. Trump cannot reverse this resolve either. No doubt a different resolve to benefit the extremists of Israel will be brought before the Security Council, but, it will be defeated and the USA will stand alone backing genocide of Palestine.

Israel's Foreign Ministry (click here) said on Tuesday that it was "reducing" working ties with 12 of the UN Security Council countries that voted to pass a resolution urging Israel to stop building settlements on occupied Palestinian land.
Foreign ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon told reporters that Israel was "temporarily reducing" visits and work with embassies, refuting reports that Israel had completely suspended working ties with the countries. He did not provide further details....
