Storms are becoming dreaded.

The water vapor started to spin up about 3 hours ago. It might be a wicked night.

Severe thunderstorms (click here) will fire up in the Northeast on Tuesday, bringing a threat for hail and damaging wind gusts ahead of a cold front pushing through the region.
NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch valid until 10:00 p.m. for portions of the Mid-Atlantic states. This watch includes Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Allentown, Pennsylvania.
An upper-air disturbance will slide in from the Great Lakes, providing lift and instability in the atmosphere.
By late-June standards, it will not be oppressively hot or humid ahead of the cold front, and deep-layer wind shear will be somewhat marginal to support supercell thunderstorms. These factors will keep this from being a more widespread, damaging outbreak....
Whoever expected a bomber in the arrival area. It usually is a bomber that is trying to get on the jet.

What is happening to the water quality in the USA?

26 June 2016

A North Carolina waterpark (click here) has closed after a teen girl was killed by a brain-eating amoeba. The 18-year-old got the death disease while taking part in a whitewater rafting.
Authorities said Lauren Seitz was exposed to the amoeba at the US National Whitewater Center (USNWC) when she was riding a raft that overturned.
“Initial test results found naegleria fowleri DNA was present in the whitewater system,” the USNWC said in a statement.
The majority of 11 water samples turned out to have the amoeba in them, Mecklenburg County health director Marcus Plescia added at a press conference.

In another statement, the USNWC chief executive Jeffrey Wise expressed the company’s “sincere condolences and sympathies to Lauren and her family.”
The victim’s father James Seltz sent a statement to NBC in Ohio, saying the 18-year-old was a talented musician and writer, as well as cared about nature.
“Our family is completely heartbroken and lost without Lauren,” he said. “It is unacceptable that a person who loved nature so much, and was so passionate about environmental issues should be taken from us in this way.”

The water in the center is disinfected with ultraviolet radiation, filtered and periodically given a dose of chlorine, with weekly tests conducted by a third-party laboratory. The lab, in its turn, said that“the levels of UV radiation disinfection utilized every day, continuously, at the center are sufficient to ‘inactivate’ the water-born amoeba in question to an effective level of 99.99%.”...
Most of the world in North Carolina is substandard, why should this be different?
The CDC needs to run an investigation.
Naegleria fowleri (click here) has caused deaths associated with using disinfected public drinking water supplies in Australia and Pakistan and an untreated, geothermal well-supplied drinking water system in Arizona, and a disinfected public drinking water system in Louisiana. The largest amount of experience in managing Naegleria fowleri-contaminated water supplies is in Australia, which had multiple deaths in four states during the 1970s and 1980s that were linked to swimming or having other nasal exposure to contaminated drinking water. The infections were linked to piping drinking water overland, sometimes for hundreds of kilometers, that resulted in the water being heated and having low disinfectant levels. These conditions allowed the water and pipes to become colonized byNaegleria fowleri. Several water systems in the states of Western Australia and South Australia continue to monitor regularly for Naegleria fowleri colonization in drinking water distribution systems. Experience gained in managing Naegleria fowleri contamination of specific water systems has prevented further infections in Australia since that time.

UV radiation is not enough in a water system this size. The air is warming and in turn heats the water within the water system.

This is a good time for the CDC to investigate water borne illnesses with a heating planet.

I thought it was a good speech and especially like the backdrop. It was colorful as well as practical. Well done.

Monessen, Pa. — Donald J. Trump (click here) vowed on Tuesday to rip up international trade deals and start an unrelenting offensive against Chinese economic practices, framing his contest with Hillary Clinton as a choice between hard-edge nationalism and the policies of “a leadership class that worships globalism.”
Speaking in western Pennsylvania, Mr. Trump sought to turn the page on weeks of campaign turmoil and racial controversy by returning to a core set of economic grievances that have animated his campaign from the start.
He attacked Mrs. Clinton for flip-flopping on her past support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade pact negotiated by the Obama administration, and challenged her to pledge that she would void the agreement in its entirety....

I have issues with some of it. It wasn't this speech that referred to a TPP Prosecutor to help American companies when power is leverage over their operations. To begin, the TPP is power leveraged over American businesses. The complexity of the legal entanglements should be resolved BEFORE any agreement. Leaving such entanglements to American companies, even with a complimentary lawyer, is designed to stifle them. The problems with TPP is too cumbersome to even consider it as a trade option for the USA.

Such a legal process only holds the hand of American companies. There should be no legal process at all. The wrinkles should be ironed out long before the words were inscribed to paper. TPP is a hostile trade option.

As to this speech, there was a statement about mining and it is a crony statement. Coal mining in the USA will never produce jobs again. The industry is far too mechanized to hire more labor. It is a contracting industry and it is obsolete. To state mining will be given a place in the USA economy as an industry that will create jobs is a lie. It is just that simple. The assessment of the industry can't be discerned from a prospectus. The liquidity of investment serves only stockholders. It has nothing to do with job creation. So, that statement is a 'shame on you,' Mr. Trump. Cronys? Really?

I have to wonder if recent return of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Russia is part of the attacks today.

June 27, 2016
Russian President Vladimir Putin (click here) has received a letter in which his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan apologized for the death of the pilot who was killed when a Russian jet was downed over the Syrian-Turkish border last November, the Kremlin said.
Erdogan expressed readiness to restore relations with Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
The incident involving the downing of the Russian Su-24 bomber led to the worst deterioration of Turkish-Russian relations in recent history, with Russia describing it as a “stab in the back.”...

Turkey needs Russia to stabilize some of it's border issues. It was about time Turkey apologize for the downing of the Russia jet. It should not have happened. Russia, no different than any other country in the region is vital to end the violence in the region. It is one of the most difficult areas to stabilize because Turkey's border is far to porous with Syria.

Istanbul — A Turkish official says (click here) two explosions have rocked Istanbul's Ataturk airport, wounding multiple people.
The official said Tuesday it was unclear whether the explosions were caused by bombs or a suicide attack.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity in line with government protocol.
Video posted to social media purports to show travelers hiding in a store inside the airport amid the chaos:...

CNN is stating possible suicide bomber.

US State Department employees are not super heroes. The sponsoring country needs to take a hard line to the level of danger the US Mission will face in that mission.

The dialogue today regarding the Benghazi attacks is still not correct. Following the attacks on Americans were attacks on the NEW Libyan leadership. Libyans died. The aggression, attacks and deaths did not end with the evacuation of Americans after September 11, 2012.

The dialogue within the White House regarding the attacks of September 11, 2012 was about the security of the Americans, but, also the effects of the attacks on the security of the new Libyan government. It was not politics, it was about how the USA presents itself in the public that can buffer the effects on Libyans leading that country. The public portrayal is important for far more than politics.

We can state Ambassador Stevens exhibited heroic efforts to move Benghazi and Libya to a democratic country; but; he also measured his actions against the conditions the Libya government was facing. I can only speculate as is the case with everyone else; Ambassador Stevens knew when he went from Tripoli to Benghazi there was violence in the country. He chose to stay in Libya and he chose to travel to Benghazi because he believed it more safe.

That POSTURE he took was reflective of the bravery of the new government. That new government lost people through violence in Tripoli in the days and weeks that followed.

When Ambassador Stevens traveled to Benghazi it was a statement of purpose of the USA and it's commitment to the Libyan people. I am fairly certain, in his mind, he believed he had no choice in his actions in Libya in those fateful days.

The State Department's decision process into the future has to remove the heroics of our diplomats. It should no longer be an option and sponsoring governments should understand that reality when a USA mission is on their soil.

When will the egg shells she is forced to walk on finally be swept away?

The politics is far, far too exploitative and gets in the way of governance. Senator Johnson expected Secretary Clinton to "...make simple phone calls to the evacuees." That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. He is attempting to interject a requirement for a hero status on the Secretary.

There were four dead Americans, including the Ambassador. There was another agent in serious condition at Walter Reed. There was trauma of these Americans across the board and the Secretary of State is suppose to make simple phone calls to debunk a press release. That is outrageous.

If I may. TODAY, June 28, 2016, "What difference does it make?"

Ten Benghazi committees. Millions upon millions of US dollars spent.

The very day the attack on the USA Consulate in Benghazi occurred I stated it was an intelligence failure. It is on this blog.

What occurred differently than the FACTS reported that day which I based my conclusions? Nothing.

Admiral Michael Mullen's committee was all that was needed.

The monies spent by House Republicans needs to be registered as an ethics violation in politicizing the death of four Americans.

What worked?

The vehicles the USA had INVESTED in providing the diplomatic mission with superior protection in any escape, worked. They worked beyond expectations.

The Americans were able to survive the attack as well. Ambassador Stevens died of smoke inhalation. There were no bullets that killed him. The fuel barrels were never secured to prevent such fires.

It was an intelligence failure of a facility that was still not secure.

I want ethics investigations of the repeating House investigations regarding Benghazi. I want links to FOX News within those ethics investigations for promoting the politics that cost the USA people millions up on millions. The monies spent on those repeated committees provided a commercial basis for FOX News.

Regardless of the criticism 'for profit' by the Wall Street folks, the people of Great Britain must be feeling empowered to effect change in their economy and government.

Americans don't have that feeling or power. Most Americans are disgusted with much of the obstructionism that occurs. Americans want better gun laws, but, an entire political party stands in the way. 90 percent. That is the poll of Americans stating they want changes in gun laws and 90 percent of Americans are disregarded by Republican politicians that embrace their donors interests over that best interest of the American people.

The people of Great Britain need to realize how powerful they are and refuse to relinquish it.

Great Britain's autonomy has created new markets without changing the markets at all.

The markets now have to renegotiate trade relations with Great Britain. Every change in markets creates new opportunity and Brexit is that new opportunity.

KIP leader Nigel Farage (click here) today apologised for Britain turning its back on New Zealand when it joined the Common Market.
In an exclusive interview with Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking, Mr Farage said he was sorry for the way Britain treated New Zealand producers who had enjoyed a good trading relationship before the British Government aligned with European trade blocs.
Now Brexit gave an opportunity to strengthen traditional trade ties Downunder, he said.
Mr Farage, who pressured the UK Government to hold a referendum on EU membership and was a leading figure in the Leave campaign, said: "What is even more exciting for me is what we can do with you guys. And I apologise to everybody in New Zealand for what my parents' generation did - we turned our backs on you.
He said it was time to negotiate good trade deals and return to how the two nations previously operated. "We had good preferential trading terms as some of the closest friends and countries in the world. We joined the Common Market as it was then called and dealt you a very bad hand.
"Well now we can talk to you guys about having a sensible, better trading relationship and Britain once again has the chance to be a global trading nation, not just a European one."...

During the Sunday Night subject, I neglected to mention the very bad indoor air created by burning wood.

The Poor in the USA use wood as a primary source of heat and the wealthy use it for aesthetics and ambiance. Regardless, burning wood causes indoor air pollution.

Wood smoke can affect everyone, but children, teenagers, older adults, people with lung disease, including asthma and COPD or people with heart diseases are the most vulnerable. Research indicates that obesity or diabetes may also increase risk.  New or expectant mothers may also want to take precautions to protect the health of their babies, because some studies indicate they may be at increased risk....

The USA EPA has a program to assist consumers to understand the importance of: A voluntary partnership program(click here) between EPA, state agencies, manufacturers, and consumers to emphasize the importance of burning the right wood, the right way, in the right appliance.

There is more information from the EPA. It is all helpful.

EPA's Cookstove program (click hereis devoted to home cooking and heating practices and design principles for wood burning stoves.

EPA’s Wood Burning Efficiency and Safety Website offers guidance on effective installation (which improves the overall safety) of the wood stove....

It is completely wrong for any elected official to advocate for wood as a source of energy. The Poor's health is compromised and government should never be a part of danger and shorter longevity.

There are editorials and Op-Eds regarding Brexit is too numerous to count.

If Great Britain was to make this move, now is the time. Unemployment is five percent and growth of the GDP has flat lined. It was time for Great Britain to move to an autonomous economic strategy while it's accumulated GDP remains intact at 4.8 percent of the global economy.

While the majority of financial ? experts ? run for cover there are people in this world admiring the bravery of the British people. Their bravery moves beyond fiscal issues and into the benefit of autonomy in governance. The Brits no longer have to act as 'one of many,' it can act on it's own best interests.

..."There are some signs of stabilisation this morning (click here) and the pound has recovered slightly it is still too early to expect a more sustained rebound for the pound. Both the effect of the Brexit vote on the UK economy and the political situation is still very uncertain although Prime Minister Cameron yesterday ruled out the possibility of a new Brexit vote," says Andreas Johnson at SEB.
We doubt a longer-term base is ready to form, yet stabalisation above 1.20 could offer relief for the under-pressure market to settle in the near-term.
Near-term trade will of course depend on how the political debate on the UK's future relationship with the EU develops....

The British people need to remain on it's course to move to complete autonomy. There should be no sabotage. There should be no regrets. Now, is the time when the British economy is at a pinnacle and can absorb any set backs.

The British Sterling is a stalwart currency. It can take a beating as fears effect the markets, but, it always comes back. The people and economy of the British Isles are the base value to the Sterling. The value of the Sterling will never be devastating even as the ignorant money managers of the world sweat out losing their fist full of cash accumulated through immoral greed. The Sterling will always be an important currency. The people of Great Britain need to move forward to their autonomy unafraid.

Paris — IF there’s one thing (click here) that chafes French pride, it’s seeing the British steal the limelight. But in the face of real courage, even the proudest French person can only tip his hat and bow. The decision that the people of Britain have just made was indeed an act of courage — the courage of a people who embrace their freedom.Brexit won out, defeating all forecasts. Britain decided to cast off from the European Union and reclaim its independence among the world’s nations. It had been said that the election would hinge solely on economic matters; the British, however, were more insightful in understanding the real issue than commentators like to admit....

...The People’s Spring is now inevitable! The only question left to ask is whether Europe is ready to rid itself of its illusions, or if the return to reason will come with suffering. I made my decision a long time ago: I chose France. I chose sovereign nations. I chose freedom.
