...Kobach, (click here) the current secretary of state in Kansas, met with Trump at his Bedminister golf club Sunday afternoon. In recent days, Kobach's name has been floated as a potential pick for head of the Department of Homeland Security...

This will not achieve a greater national security. It will increase an underground that could become very militant if this strategy is actually deployed within the USA.

There are too many indications that there will be civil unrest in the country. The tensions began to rise during the Trump candidacy. This evidence is only fuel for the fire. Homeland Security is going to be more invasive to citizens privacy and not less.

This is not a good sign for peace within the USA itself.

It is one thing to have right wing organizations advancing it's principles, but, it is quiet another thing to have sincere reasons for unrest. This allows radicals within the USA to increase activities and pose a real threat similar to what France is dealing with. The difference are two oceans to cross. That geography should not give the USA a false sense of security.
