"The Clinton Foundation" was created by Former President Clinton

It is a non-profit organization that works through partnerships. The partners include individuals, other organizations and governments.

I am fairly certain this is a 501(c)3. In that is an understanding the public has a right to know about the organization and it's financial holdings and expenses.

They do good work to improve countries in development of their people for a better quality of life. I am sure the foundation makes investments to maintain it's fiscal vitality. Foundations are required to spend at least 5 percent of their incomes on projects within the mission of the foundation. That percentage was changed and increased under the "W" administration.

I really think the Board of Trustees need to offer themselves to talk shows to discuss the book. It probably isn't any information the public can't have anyway. The entire book sounds like a political strategy Rove drummed up on his White Board with Murdock.

I don't' see Chelsea having a responsibility to discuss the book with the media. She has plenty to do with a baby at home.

This is the Board of Trustees (click here).

Bruce Lindsey, Chairman of the Board
Chelsea Clinton, Vice Chair of the Board
President Bill Clinton
Frank Giustra
Rolando Gonzalez Bunster
Ambassador Eric Goosby, MD

Lisa Jackson
Cheryl Mills
Cheryl Saban, Ph.D.

Hillary is absolutely correct, it is her responsibility to discuss the issues and not speculation about the former president's foundation. Her candidacy is very important to the people of the USA. I would expect anyone on the Board that would allow the media an interview regarding the organization and speculative trashing of it would be very helpful to all of us.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) (click here) is asking people over Twitter to send him information about money collected by the Clinton Foundation that may have influenced U.S. foreign policy while Hillary Clinton was secretary of State....

They are just looking for something, anything that will stick to the wall to defame the Former Secretary.

Federal officers to investigate the young man's death.

The U.S. Justice Department (click here) opened a civil rights investigation Tuesday in the death of Freddie Gray, the Baltimore man whose spine was allegedly severed while he was in police custody.

Gray, 25, died Sunday, a week after he was arrested April 12 on a weapons charge in Baltimore. The arrest was recorded on cellphone video, which shows Gray being pinned to the ground and then bundled into a police van. He is heard screaming on the video....

Russia has already told Iran to stop any participation with the Yemen conflict.

WASHINGTON — The Navy aircraft carrier, (click here) USS Theodore Roosevelt is steaming toward the waters off the country to beef up security and join other American ships that are prepared to intercept any Iranian vessels carrying weapons to the Houthi rebels.
The deployment comes after a UN Security Council resolution approved last week imposed an arms embargo on the leaders of the Iranian-backed Shiite Houthi rebels. The resolution passed in a 14-0 vote with Russia abstaining.

Navy officials said yesterday (April 20) that the Roosevelt was moving through the Arabian Sea. A massive ship that carries F/A-18 fighter jets, the Roosevelt is seen more of a deterrent and show of force in the region....

The United Nation's Small Arms Treaty comes into play with this incident if Iran was taking weapons to Yemen. Yemen has a very long coastline. There has to be enough of a presence to prevent any delivery.

The New York Times has some interesting maps about Yemen (click here).

This is the NYT article accompanying the maps (click here).

Wait a minute. There is something very wrong here.

Why are citizens in their homes while the SWAT team is occupying it?

None of this makes sense. They don't know what they are doing.
They have loose weapons sitting around. They are compromising their own safety. Someone is going to end up in the emergency room or worse. They should not be there. If they are nothing more than weekend warriors there needs to be National Guard called. At this point the FBI should be supervising any bomb threat. This is getting strange, very strange.

This is at 0.05 in the video.

Very one just chill. "Whistle while you work." That sort of thing.

If things are this bad in Ferguson, the Governor, the National Guard and the FBI needs to be put on alert to the potential of human tragedy.

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Police are investigating a bomb (click here) threat reported Tuesday morning at St. Louis City Hall.  Three suspicious containers were found entrances at around 7:00a.m. Two of the items were metal cylinders one was a bag.  All staff members were evacuated as a precaution.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officials say all three of the suspicious devices have been secured. City of St Louis Fire Chief  Dennis Jenkerson confirms one cylinder is a CO2 tank. It has been rendered safe.
Officers are working to ensure that the area around City Hall cleared of any foreign objects. The situation is being handled with an abundance of caution by city’s Bomb Squad, Canine Unit and Fire Department.  Four blocks surrounding City Hall were closed as investigators worked on clearing the area....

It is routine to report any suspicious bags or other wise. Last I checked CO2 tanks are not explosive.

What is the reason for the muscle flexing around citizens of the USA? The investigators actually know who created the pipe bombs? They are pipe bombs, right? Or are they just pipes? They aren't aluminum tubes, are they? I think they came from outside Missouri.

Some place like Oklahoma.

This just came out on RT:

Swat teams being deployed in Ferguson? Evidently, the SWAT teams are occupying citizen's homes. The SWAT team is all white guys.

Just another day in paradise for Ferguson. Anyone want to relocate? I hear property values are falling. I betcha some thought that was a joke, huh? Nope. Those white folks can't seem to manage a city correctly. That might have something to do with it.

I am sure the suspected bomb materials/bombs were dusted for prints before wiped clean and put into the evidence room, right?

...Because of the Ferguson PD presence,(click here for video) protesters from the area made their way to the scene. Ferguson was Ground Zero for anti-police brutality demonstrations after unarmed black teen Michael Brown was shot and killed by Officer Darren Wilson, a white cop...

Research has been conducted on hazardous materials in tank cars. It is on the blog.

— Outlet valves underneath four tank cars (click here) in a February oil train derailment in West Virginia were sheared off and the 50,000 gallons of crude oil they released ignited in a fire that subsequently caused several nearby rail cars to explode, according to a federal report.

The report also identified the initial cause of the Feb. 16 derailment in Mount Carbon, W.Va., as a broken rail on track owned and maintained by CSX and said more than 362,000 gallons of crude oil were released. The fires and explosions from the derailment kept 300 residents away from their homes.

The report, which appeared Thursday in the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s hazardous materials incident database, highlights another issue with the design of the tank cars used to carry crude oil and their ability to resist damage from derailments and fire exposure.

When I made comment to the State Department and US Transportation Department I stated the tar sands mixture would be very hard on train infrastructure. This is a prime example of how corrosive this product is to infrastructure. The lousy stuff doesn't belong anywhere in rail cars. Pipelines carrying this product have also been eroding quicker than the government's assessment. Naphtha is not simply highly explosive, it is highly corrosive.

The Mount Carbon derailment was one of four oil train derailments since the beginning of the year that resulted in large fires. On March 5, an oil train operated by BNSF derailed near Galena, Ill. Two other oil trains derailed in Ontario on Canadian National, one in February and one in March....

There is no containing it. This product is extremely dangerous, won't allow infrastructure it's integrity and has no place in this world.

From Greenpeace

Millions of us (click here) are speaking out against Arctic drilling. Together, we are a powerful force for change: from fossil fuels to renewables. From corporate power to corporate responsibility.

While you at it, end the exploitation of tar sands and RETURN Earth's purpose to humanity.

I am quite confident there is a lawsuit in there somewhere. People have died due to the tar sands product. That can't be legal and termed nothing more than a mistake or accident. This is the methodology of the petroleum industry. They are extracting a carbon dense material and causing environmental damage and disruption. They are killing people when transporting the product. It has to stop. This is crazy.

A mistake happens due to statistical analysis in not finding it. But, the tar sands product is not a mistake.

An accident occurs because of short sightedness. The tar sands product is a methodology that results in disastrous events. Accidents happen occasionally, this is not an accident, this is the roulette wheel.

Think like an investor. Would a savvy investor get involved in such a company and product? No. The people that invest want a quick fiscal return. Why? Because they lost money elsewhere.

DIVEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The industry is negligent to public safety.

WASHINGTON (AP) — An emergency order (click here) requiring trains hauling crude oil and other flammable liquids to slow down as they pass through urban areas and a series of other steps to improve the safety were announced Friday by the Department of Transportation....

There are no baffles in the railroad tank cars to stop the 'splash' of the liquid. A tank car can be standing still and if the liquid inside is agitated enough it will destabilize the tank car.

,,,Major freight railroads have already limited oil trains to no more 40 mph in "high threat" urban areas under a voluntary agreement reached last year with Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx. But Friday's order makes the speed limitation a requirement and extends it to trains carrying other flammable liquids like ethanol.

However, investigators have said the trains in most of the recent accidents were traveling at less than 40 mph but still derailed....

The reason the tank cars are derailing is because the entire train consists of oil tank cars. There is no stable product on the trail. Each tank car has a wave motion in them and when one car wave motion disagrees with the wave motion of the next car it is linked to it derails.

The problem with the tar sands oil is the high percentage of naphtha in solution with oil.  The mixture is dangerous no matter how it is transported. The naphtha explodes and then the oil burns for long periods of time.

The tar sands oil is a very dangerous chemical MIXTURE. Let's say there is a tanker car of naphtha being transported 2000 miles. It explodes for whatever reason it does. The explosion is severe, but, then it is over. It only explodes once. But, with tar sands there is an explosion and then the environment is left with burning oil that continues to burn until the last drop is burned away.

Welcome to the petroleum industry and it's lack of ethics or value of morality. The industry knows all this, they don't care. It is the same thing with natural gas. The infrastructure for natural gas fails and kills people and destroys property. They don't care. They let the insurance companies argue about the claims and the funeral industry bury the dead.

Tar sands need to be left to be tar sands with huge wetlands and rivers supporting endangered species of fish. The industry is a blight on the world. There is nothing moral about tar sands oil.

Stop allowing this product eligibility in international tax free zones in the USA. The product should be taxed and heavily considering the problem it creates for the USA.

The rail industry has to decide what safety is for their business. It needs to evaluate what liquids transport safely, such as milk.  The worst that can happen with a milk car derailment is nutrition to the animals in the immediate vacinity.

Enforcement of racism in North Carolina. There were no Clinton emails found in the study.

DURHAM, N.C. -
Could history be repeating itself? (click here) That's the question raised by a study published Monday in the National Bureau of Economic Research that looks at the racial makeup of charter schools in North Carolina.

The study, "The Growing Segmentation of the Charter School Sector in North Carolina," was published by Duke University professors Helen Ladd, Charles Clotfelter and John Holbein. It examines the trends of student enrollment in charter schools, primarily between fourth and eighth grades, since their introduction in the state in 1997....

It is institutional racism. I have been stating the McCrory administration was undermining the public school system. UNC has been a highly regarded institution for decades. UNC schools can be found in every corner of the state serving tens of thousands of not hundreds of thousands of resident students as well as out of state students.

The corruption of the McCrory Administration is thick as pea soup. It is everywhere and more obvious than ever.

This is a shift backed by the legislature. All the Chancellors and the President are placed by an act of State Legislature. Such placement is usually routine once there is an extensive search for the best leadership. Each of these positions are expensive to conduct and can take as long as six months to a year. This is once again Republicans over throwing stable and effective governments to benefit their own ideologies.

...A couple of weeks ago, (click here) completely out of the blue, the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina, stacked as it is with McCrory/Pope loyalists, fired popular UNC president Tom Ross. The board still has not explained its actions, but Ross was tight with the Democratic establishment in the state, so there's a big old trout in the milk there....

This is no different than the scandal surrounding Duke Power and it's brokering of coal ash with the former employee, McCrory. There was absolutely nothing wrong and every thing right about UNC and now the it's future and quality is in peril.

When McCrory first took office there were new tax breaks and credits on the state income tax to prove how bad the Democrats were for the state. This year a far higher state tax rate has been necessary to pay the bills. The McCrory administration is a complete failure and imperiling the quality of life and well being of the residents of North Carolina. In the case of higher education, the students of the UNC system were receiving world class educations and job offers that were the envy of any job market. There was nothing that was wrong with UNC. Nothing.

Does Ted Cruz want gun violence and insubordination?

April 20, 2015
By James Hohman

(POLITICO) LITCHFIELD, N.H.—Appealing (click here) to New Hampshire’s powerful gun culture, Sen. Ted Cruz said Sunday that he’s “pressing” Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain to hold hearings on whether soldiers should be allowed to carry their own concealed firearms onto military bases.

“I am very concerned about that policy,” the Texas senator told 120 gun owners at a hunting club here, before taking a trip to a firing range for some target practice. “I think it’s very important to have a public discussion about why we’re denying our soldiers the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights.”

Defense Department leaders oppose relaxing the ban, which was enacted under George H.W. Bush.

It's "Fox and Friends" again. The propaganda was given birth a year ago and now it is an agenda item in the Republican rhetoric.

I hear the Tea Party has a new trademark in reverence to Fox News.

Jim Hoft: "Thanks To Liberals (click here) And Bill Clinton And Democrats Our Military Bases Are Gun-Free Zones." In an April 3 post for his conservative blog The Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft claimed:

More proof Republicans running for President have not sound baseline policies for the country. Ted Cruz never bothered to look into the propaganda or talked to military base leaders. He simply was lead by the nose by a populous political movement that follows Fox News as if they are the Supreme Leader of the airwaves.
