The Kurds and Shia now have acknowledgement by the US Pentagon the borders of the Former Iraq are fluid.

...Islamic State (click here) cannot be defeated without addressing “both sides of what is essentially at this point a nonexistent border” between Iraq and Syria, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Thursday...

General Dempsey went on to clarify from a journalist's question that ISIL (ISIS) can be defeated without crossing into Syria.

The autonomous regions of the former Iraq need to move before the United Nations to recognize their status as independent. I am sure they already have provincial authority that can easily move into being President and a cabinet.

General Dempsey points to the fact ISIS has ambitions to dominate the entire region and in that are allies to the USA. As of today, the countries in the region of ISIS activity are stable with secure borders.

It is obvious, isn't it? The Pentagon wants to invade the former Iraq. Right? Yeah. Very obvious.

I want to know why the Pentagon believes they can end hostilities in this region? Do they intend to kill everyone and start over? Is that the idea, because, we know FOR A FACT that when a militant group is destroyed it sprouts offspring. So, besides killing everyone and repopulating the areas with USA FRIENDLIES AND WALL STREET, what are their plans?

We have been here before, why is the Pentagon so very interested in killing with boots on the ground? It accomplishes NOTHING! It OBVIOUSLY accomplishes nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Kurds and Shea need to make their case for an independent nation and in the mean time they need allies that will help maintain their borders. When a USA Chairman of the Joint Chiefs sees moving borders and plans to execute strikes with that in mind, it is legitimate, legally binding and should be a priority of the people and other nations in the region.

There is no more Iraq. Get over it. It collapsed and isn't coming back.

The Kurds and Shea need to make their case before the United Nations.

It is just unfortunate the collapse of Iraq doesn't fit the Republican political dialogue in the USA.

When the Shia and Kurds make their arguments to the status of their nation and sovereign borders they need to call up the adversity they have suffered in the past decades under leadership other than their own people.

Workers Safely Tear Down Towers at Manhattan Project Site (click here)

LOS ALAMOS, N.M. – After decades dominating the Los Alamos National Laboratoryskyline, two water towers were safely demolished by workers in a matter of hours recently, bringing EM’s Environmental Projects Office at Los Alamos a step closer to transferring the land for future commercial or industrial use.
The towers were located in Technical Area 21 (TA-21), an early site of the Manhattan Project work at the laboratory, which is part of DOE's network of national laboratories. It was the location of the world’s first plutonium processing facility and where groundbreaking tritium research took place.
The demolition is a continuation of a large-scale environmental cleanup at TA-21 that began in 2009 when cleanup was funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. Demolishing the 175-foot and 160-foot towers was one of several projects to remove remaining structures at TA-21.
“By bringing down these towers, we are making a noticeable difference in the skyline at Los Alamos,” Los Alamos Field Office Environmental Programs Assistant Manager Pete Maggiore said. “This is another positive step towards eventual transfer of this property to Los Alamos County.”...

A federal judge’s (click here) own experience with defendant P(edro). Leonardo Mascheroni, a former Los Alamos lab scientist accused of trying to sell nuclear secrets to Venezuela, factored into the sentencing Wednesday of Mascheroni’s wife.
Marjorie Roxby Mascheroni, 71, got a year and a day in federal prison, well under the mandatory 14-year minimum she could have faced had she been convicted at trial. In part that was because of a plea agreement negotiated with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which set her potential sentence at one to two years....
In a completely different case, scientists are pleading for the return of an employee. He worked in the non-proliferation wrote an article abolishing nuclear weapons, had his article cleared, it was published and then he was fired for having written the article.

SANTA FE - A group of scientists (click here) who work to limit the spread of nuclear weapons is urging the U.S. Energy Secretary to intervene on behalf of a fired worker at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Santa Fe political scientist James Doyle says he was fired after 17 years on the job in July after writing an article for a nonprofit web site in support of abolishing nuclear weapons. Doyle worked on the lab's non-proliferation team.
Federation of American Scientists President Charles Ferguson urged Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz to ensure that that Doyle isn't penalized for participating in the national dialogue over nuclear policy.
Doyle tells the Santa Fe New Mexican (http://bit.ly/1rpTbbs) he was fired after lab officials claimed his article raised classification concerns. He says the article had been cleared for publication.
Will the three autopsies of Michael Brown, Jr. all reach the same conclusion?

The private autopsy of the family was not allowed to look at other forensic evidence that is available to state and federal investigators.

The State and Federal investigations should concur, unless, there is a bubble of secrecy and protection surrounding Wilson by the city and state.

Vladimir Putin prefers an invading force rather than regional peace.

President Putin never accessed the many options the people of Eastern Ukraine have in regard to humanitarian aid. Putin didn't go to the United Nations, we all know this is propaganda driven and there is a reason why NGOs exist to bring aid to people in need. Putin is completely inappropriate and reflects Russian preference for isolation and aggression.

After a nearly 10-day standoff, (click here) at least 145 trucks of a Russian humanitarian convoy crossed into Ukraine on Friday without the permission of Ukrainian authorities or the accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross — a step that Ukraine’s top security official called an “invasion.”...

Europe, NATO, Black Sea countries and the United Nations have to consider what this aggression means and how it is going to react to it?

Ukraine has every right to intercept the trucks and dispose of the humanitarian aid as it wishes. That means arresting Russian convoy drivers. They are in Ukraine without proper documents, therefore, they are illegal immigrants and perhaps even recruits for more hostilities.

Bullshit! Can he walk and talk at the same time?

Lupica: Obama's return to the links shows lack of leadership in face of ISIS threat

The ONLY country the USA is engaged in war is Afghanistan.

Baghdad requested air support.

End of discussion.

So let me get this right; the USA has to go to war because it has no confidence in it's own rules? Is that right? Then why the rules at all?

Post 9 11 there were safe guards put in place; one was the "No Fly List."

The West's media is all a flutter about the fact their citizens are leaving to join the jihadist movement originating in Syria. Either the safe guards work or they don't.

Currently, airline passengers are complaining about the process of the "No Fly List." Do the governments believe they can make flying more convenient or more difficult in the face of their new concerns?

Changes planned on how travelers can protest placement on no-fly list (click here)
The Obama administration is promising to change the way travelers can ask to be removed from its no-fly list of suspected terrorists banned from air travel.
The decision comes after a federal judge's ruling that there was no meaningful way to challenge the designation, a situation deemed unconstitutional. In response, the Justice Department said the U.S. will change the process during the next six months. As of late last summer, about 48,000 people were on the no-fly list.

The government's policy is never to confirm or deny that a person actually is on the no-fly list, citing national security concerns. In many of these cases, travelers assume they are on the list because they are instructed to go through additional screening at airports or because they are told they can't board their flights to, from or within the United States....

Customs and Border Protection officers must admit U.S. citizens, even if they visited such 'restricted' countries as Cuba or North Korea (click here)

March 14, 2012

Q: I am a U.S. citizen. On return from a recent vacation in Yemen, a Customs and Border Protection officer asked me about why I was abroad for so long. Since I am a U.S. citizen, can't I stay abroad as long as I wish?

Khalil Mohamed Alkaifi, Staten Island

A. You are correct. As a U.S. citizen, you can stay abroad for as long as you wish and always have the right to return. CBP officers must admit a U.S. citizen. That’s true even if you were to visit a country where U.S. law restricts travel, such as North Korea or Cuba.

Unlike permanent residents, U.S. citizens need not maintain a residence in the United States.

At one time a naturalized U.S. citizen had to maintain U.S. residence for a certain period after naturalizing. No longer. Congress repealed those laws. You could stay abroad for the rest of your life and remain a U.S. citizen....

Syria is Russia's ally. Assad has plenty of military clout if he wants it to defeat ISIS.

There is absolutely no reason for the USA to enter Syria and if it did it would be opening up Pandora's box. I don't think the President is that stupid, is he?

It would require a UN resolution and Russia would veto such a measure. What is Obama becoming "W", Jr.? Sure looks like it. Wiping ISIL off the map, no different than killing Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, won't make a bit of difference. It would be a TROPHY. It would settle nothing.

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (click here) cannot be defeated unless the United States or its partners take on the Sunni militants in Syria, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Thursday.

“This is an organization that has an apocalyptic end-of-days strategic vision that will eventually have to be defeated,” said the chairman, Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, in his most expansive public remarks on the crisis since American airstrikes began in Iraq. “Can they be defeated without addressing that part of the organization that resides in Syria? The answer is no.”

But General Dempsey and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, who both spoke at a Pentagon news conference, gave no indication that President Obama was about to approve airstrikes in Syria....
