Live the prophesy. That is what predictions like this provide.

...Of course, (click here) the superpredator predictions were completely unfounded, as Mr. DiIulio himself later admitted. “Thank God we were wrong,” he said in 2001, from his comfortable post in the Bush White House’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Juvenile crime, like all crime, was in fact declining throughout the 1990s.
Two decades later, it’s easy to look back in judgment, but it would be a mistake to think the nation has fully moved beyond that mind-set. Many states continue to punish juveniles as harshly as they can, even though the Supreme Court has held in a series of landmark rulings since 2005 that young people are “constitutionally different” from adults....

Martin Lee Anderson was the reason Boot Camps were outlawed in Florida. But, it wasn't until his death did that occur.

The bad boy, what does the USA do with all these bad boys to straighten them out forever and make them productive citizens?

As much as teens 15 -17 believe they can make all their own decisions and carry out life as an adult it is a forgone conclusion that is not within their growth anf development.

Teens are better able to solve problems, (click here) think about their future, appreciate opinions of others, and understand the long-term effects of their decisions. However, teens tend to use these skills inconsistently; as a result, they sometimes do things without thinking first.

The problem in the USA does not belong to the Teen. It belongs to the society the Teen has grown up in. Teens have no power. They have no control over their outcomes. They are dependent on a majority society to bring them into maturity.

I raised two boys. They were great. I loved every minute. Their growing up years were not smooth as glass. I remember a dear friend who was also a child psychologist stated to me, "You are great mother. They are lucky they have you as their Mom. It's fun raising them, isn't it? A parent never knows how a youngster will do 'In the Wild,' but, you've tamed the wild and treated them as thinking people for most of their years. They are lucky."

I don't want children to be lucky, I want them to be loved, well educated, respected and guided into their own lives free of any 'fear of life.'

My boys were never afraid of life, but, it took a lot of parenting and vigilance to keep them on track, make them known they were loved and find the maturity when it showed itself. I was fortunate to have a better than Middle Class employ and was able to always find great supervisors when I wasn't around and activities with adults that actually cared about them.

When I was growing up, my family was not wealthy, but, those same values were present in my life.

Parenting is a REQUIREMENT to raise a child into a wholesome citizen with sound values and aspirations. Unfortunately, in the USA the commodity of parenting is missing in most households where parents are required to work two to three jobs to keep food on the table. Those parents are not without love for their children, but, they are without 'face time' to prove how much they sincerely do love them.

Superpredators? Bad children? There is no such thing, but, only the society that neglects them and their families.

This is where the global grown-ups can be found.

NATO is correct. This chaos is all due to Russian's permission.

Would the USA toy with a sovereign nation and the safety of it's people?  Mine wouldn't. Maybe Bush's, but, not mine. No major nation, including all of NATO would ever toy with a country and it's people.

The USA media is treating this like, "Oh, oh, oh, look at the hideous nature of what is transpiring in Ukraine. Kiev actually think it is something." Well, grow up. The reason this chaos, unrest or anything else you want to call it is occurring is because Russia said to Crimea, "Come on down, the weather is great." That is a nation to be taken seriously on the world stage? No, it isn't.

Russia is escalating the tensions and fueling confrontation. GUILTY. The Ukraine was perfectly fine until Russia decided it had the right to slice and dice the country until it imploded and was cast into a third world status.

Russia has done nothing but created entangled fiscal webs to entrap nations into submissiveness. That is a credible power in the world? I think not.

Russia has done a complete 180 and holds the global community in contempt of it's priorities while it toys with a sovereign country and it's people. It is all brinkmanship. Russia is practicing brinkmanship in order to toy with the Ukraine on an ego trip it has greater power. Well, surprise, surprise, surprise.

Why does anyone expect Ukraine to be able to stand up to this disaster in leadership in Moscow?

There is suppose to be an election. Does anyone think that is actually going to happen?

Josh never got the memo. It wasn't that the former Governor never paid taxes, it was that he never paid enough.

Hey @SenatorReid here's a shot of @MittRomney paying taxes. Does it every year. It's how you get your paycheck.

What are the state distributions and what are the educational programs? Medications and blood pressure enter into sudden change in temperatures.

This is how they stay fit. Pools are often used for cardiac rehab as well. So, the problem really is an important focus.

Some good news (click here) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as swimsuit season approaches: People don’t seem to be drowning as often as they used to.

Unintentional drowning deaths in the United States decreased 9 percent between 1999 and 2010, according to figures released Tuesday morning, with the sharpest decline among infants under 1. Deaths also reduced among older children and young adults. But deaths increased nearly 10 percent for one group – people ages 45 to 84.

The report’s author, Jiaquan Xu of the National Center for Health Statistics, did not offer any reasons for the changes. But others who have noticed the positive trend point out that it could be the result of public health efforts aimed at promoting bath and pool safety for young children, for whom accidental drowning had become a major cause of death in the United States....

It is not unusual to find the elderly fallen in a shower after the water hits the skin and there is vasodilation.

What happened? This ship was on a regular route and this happened?

SEOUL/JINDO, South Korea
April 16 (Yonhap)

...The ill-fated ship (click here) completely capsized and sank in two hours.

The cause of the accident was not known, though survivors said they heard a banging noise before the ship suddenly started sinking. Speculation has arisen that the ship might have hit an underwater rock or collided with another vessel.

"There was a bang and then the ship suddenly tilted over," said a survivor identified by his surname Yoo, 57. "Downstairs were restaurants, shops and entertainment rooms, and those who were there are feared to have failed to escape."

The government said the priority is rescue operations.

"We will try to determine the cause of the accident after rescue operations are over," said Second Vice Home Affairs Minister Lee Gyeong-og said during a press briefing in Seoul....

Another vessel? A sub? Who's sub? Suddenly tilted over? It was rammed? It was lifted?

This was a regular route, a rock doesn't grow in days. And the fact it is a regular route also creates a 'sitting duck' if hostilities were the reason.

...The students (click here) were on their way to Jeju island for a four-day trip. The trip from Incheon to Jeju is usually about 14 hours, so the ferry was about three hours from its destination when it made the distress call....

Jeju is an island but is also one of the twenty South Korean sovereign provinces. If this is at all linked to hostilities, it is a direct attack on South Korea. An accident? It would have to be proven to be called an accident beyond any doubt before I'd call it an accident.

It was nowhere near a shoreline. (click here) What rock outcrop is going to be in that water?

I'd bet real money it was a predator sub. The last report I read on North Korean subs was that there were four missing.

Divers couldn't get to the ship for further rescue because it was in deeper than 100 feet of water and there was a rock out crop? I don't think so.

Who was in the area? (click here) There are other passenger ships on the water now. What is going on to be sure they aren't facing the same outcomes?

It is obviously an area of heavy traffic, but, for a ship to simply sink is a rather strange thing. A bang and suddenly tilted. That bang was not internal and the bottom of the hull looks intact. There was no other surface ship involved. The causes are getting fewer and fewer.

Secretary Hagel was just in China. He received a very open welcome. I am sure China is just as concerned about the security of these ships as any other nation. China cannot tolerate any aggressions. China's economy runs on cargo ships. This is nonsense.
