This is the part where I get to provide an opinion.

There is no reason for any American not to speak the language of the Climate Crisis. It is there to be understood without discrimination by every culture in the USA.

There is also a clear understanding Earth has limits. Human beings cannot not go forward believing they are 'entitled' to no limits. Human are not 'entitled' to greed at the cost of other's demise and the cost of the biotic content of the world.

The USA is defined by it's benevolence. Or, should I say it was defined by it's benevolence. That benevolence was to be throughout the content of the USA. It's economy, it's military, it's policies, it's laws and it's people.

The Climate Crisis is not an us and them issue. It is not a politically correct issue, it is however about being CORRECT. It is believing the best of our scientific community acts with precision, esteem and importance to the reality we are facing. It is putting scientific finding ahead of economic greed. It is about protecting the future for our children and passing along a promise of a better life than we had.

I am not saying everyone has to believe in a god of the Abrahamic teachings. What I am saying is there are no more excuses. We act as a nation and not a house divided against itself.

We act as a nation, accept the facts before us, make policy that is correct and not exploitative, lead and provide example and participate in global communities to bring USA policy to the forefront of benevolence.

The USA has taken a false path leading it to controversy rather than leadership. It is a path of greed at any cost and it has to end. We need the leadership of 'our times' to bring about the respect our country deserves and that most of the people want.

"Noonday Rest"  by  Jean François Millet

Genesis 2

New International Version (NIV)
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Genesis is a very interesting book. Genesis 2 is where the page gets turned from work to rest. Genesis is in every religion of Abraham. It is in every denomination, every variant, every group, every tribe, every Bible and every interpretation.

There is no misunderstanding. In every practice of an Abrahamic religion there is Genesis. It is universal through any of these people.

The consumption of Earth's Carrying Capacity is not exclusive to humans in Genesis.

27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

So, what is happening in this Bible passage of Genesis? Is mankind that of a ruler? Or is mankind that of a steward? Never sacrificing his own WELL BEING for that of other creatures, but, never destroying to eliminate competition for resources that are the by-products of life on Earth.

We know humans have far greater capacity to reason than other living things. We know God put in the hands of mankind the RESPONSIBiLITY to reason. God wants a steward to understand his creation and rule over it to protect it, no different than the air masses of Earth protect all that is living.

The Carrying Capacity of Earth gets very interesting here. It is the sixth day of creation and Earth's biotic content is very complicated. There are enormous amounts of consumption, but, the elemental Earth sustains.

Does anyone believe mankind is suppose to rule Earth to it's exclusivity? It isn't Biblical to do that. There is no understanding in god's relationship with mankind that it was one of permission to consumption of all the Earth. There is no moral content in that interpretation. There is however greed. For if a steward were to consume all that is available, that is the quintessential definition of greed.

The Carrying Capacity of Earth is interesting, complex and measurable. It defines the LIMITS placed on mankind in relation to the world we live in. It states clearly mankind has the ability to reason to protect the world granted to them in opportunity for life.

I propose that opportunity is what we seek to protect when our government regulates the abuses of those less inclined to be benevolent and more inclined to be greedy.

Genesis is inclusive in the understanding of Earth's biotic content.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

The Bible at this point puts us all in the same mix. There is no understanding of mankind having the right to destroy, but, only to consume. The USA values it's benevolence and practices laws such as the Endangered Species Act. It is based in Biblical context. There is a clear understanding life on Earth is a harmony and not an exclusivity. After all ruling over the fish and the birds means there have to be fish and birds to rule over.

The Carrying Capacity of Earth has to be measured from a consumer's perspective not just that of the Elemental Earth or the capacity to provide life, it has to have an understanding of consumption of all that is Earth. In other words, what is the optimal consumption of Earth's by-products that will preserve life without exception?

Plants being the Primary Consumers and ultimately the Primary Producers led to the next generation of consumers.

20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

The Carry Capacity of Earth has to include the consumers of Earth. From this understanding now begins a negative effect on Earth's 100% capacity. We have witnessed Earth's maximum. At the Primary Consumer and bi-product of Primary Producers it has been consumption of elemental Earth. Elemental Earth is the aspect of Earth that is finite. The land, the water and the air. Elemental Earth is a constant. It is the 100% without consumption that intends on viability. It is the Earth that will always exist. Short of the sun's nova, there isn't anything that consumes that capacity. It is constant. It may change form, but, it is constant.

It is from here there is energy consumed by the biotic content of Earth. The plants consume the elements of Earth to produce life. Plants have no conscience and don't seek to serve any consumers, but, the opportunity of their by-products allows the opportunity to the negative side of Earth's Carrying Capacity. It is now here there is consumption that can lead to unreasonable demand. Can Earth's by-product producers keep up with demand?

Are all forms of life important? Do we not live on Earth with the understanding life itself is important. Do scientists not look to conservation to protect that which is important in our natural world? Is their work not important? Do they not sound the warning of OVER CONSUMPTION?

Genesis leaves nothing out of the picture. It refers to the moon as the ruler of the night.

14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

Genesis believes in Earth's capacity in the presence of other celestial bodies. Any reason modern study should leave out the understanding science brings to ourselves? Any reason why human beings are not given the gift of understanding as provided for in permission in the Bible?

Genesis doesn't separate the bodies of study from each other, they are related. One vault is incorporated into another and there is life on Earth. Sort of a cookbook. Flour from one vault, water from another, yeast from another and sugar from yet another to mix together and bake bread.

Genesis invites the thinking of our world as a whole to any aspect of life. Therefore it is the mix of all the elements of life that are as important as any other. The atmospheres of Earth are not easily seen, but, they are vital beyond any capacity to imagine to life's very existence.

Why at this point in Bibical progression are there plants?

11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

This is an easy one. What would first consumer light, air, water and warmth in a cycle of life that is sustainable?

Photosynthesis. The By-Product and that is a very important word of plant consumption is oxygen. Among other things, but, if Earth was first lush and green it was due to the consumption of the elements.

In any conservation measurement of a system's carrying capacity is the understanding there are primary consumers that also have bi-products that are then considered Primary Producers.

December 15, 2013
Organisms (click here) that use inorganic sources of energy, and particularly plants are the base unit of stored energy in any ecosystem. Light energy is converted to chemical energy by photosynthesis within the cells of plants....

There are also ocean and water plants. They are also primary consumers and their by-products are considered Primary Producers.

There are many scientific theories that follow the path laid out in Genesis. They are variations of the story of Genesis, but, they do not insult the sheer understanding laid down in Genesis.

Are plants vital to Earth's Carrying Capacity? Are you joking? Try living without them. It is not a healthy person or even one that is alive without plants on Earth. Plants are among the first aspects of any ecosystem to adapt and/or mutate.

In the Carrying Capacity of Earth the most important layer of understanding is the amount of plant photosynthesis occurring at any point in time. Photosynthesis is where carbon dioxide is utilized. It seems to that putting plants first is vital to Earth's benevolence. It is benevolence that is the nature of God, is it not? Ultimately, in Genesis it is the benevolent outcome to the creation that comes across as the most important act of God's mind. The creator created. He not only created, he presented it as a gift to the potential of his likeness being benevolent.

So, in understanding Earth's Carrying Capacity there has to be a clear understanding there is a maximum for everything. A maximum for sunlight, heat, atmospheres, oceans and water, water vapor and clouds and rain and plants.

They are all consumers. But, as we progress through this mindfulness of Earth's elements we are seeing by-products from the consumption and those by-products are considered production. Why? Because with elements being changed in the consumption of biotic systems of Earth, it gives rise to OPPORTUNITY for new biotic content, new life and new consumers.

Earth's elements from the very beginning are opportunities for life.

There is a progressive plan in Genesis.

And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

What is Earth's Carrying Capacity? We now have atmospheres of air that provide light and warmth. That is all part of Earth's Carrying Capacity.

We have land and water. In Genesis can one even imagine the purity of that land and water? In true Biblical fashion the USA passed laws when the land, air and water were being polluted. Those laws aren't important? They aren't Biblical in content?

When I think of Earth's Carrying Capacity I think of it as it was in Genesis. Pure and ready for life to consume what Earth provides.

Are we seeing consumption in our natural world yet? Sure. Sol is consuming it's fuel. There is sunlight being consumed by Earth's atmospheres.

So there is consumption.

Sky. Atmosphere. The Protective Layer of AIR MASS that allows life on Earth.

And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

There is a definitive understanding in this passage in Genesis stating the atmospheres of Earth came before life. It was these atmospheres scientists have studied beyond a doubt to their altitude, their composition and what role they play in the life of humans.

There is profound scientific wisdom expressed in Genesis. A knowing. Long before NASA started it's mission in understanding Earth's precious air masses and how delicate they are to life on Earth. No one can deny these entries in the Bible exist. The arguement can be made this reading is what gave human insight to begin to investigate the precious planet. How would humans know where to start?

I am not a scholar on the philosphers of Greece and Rome, but, they were practical scientists. Watching the skies, counting and measuring stars, assigning calenders and seasons. It was practical application to the agrarian lives they led. But, I don't recall any of the scholars or emperors ever referring to the gaseous layers of Earth. God and Goddesses, sure. But, that actual composition of Earth. Not in my study of those societies. Any study of anthropology, even as a minor degree, would require some working knowledge of Rome and Greece.

But, in the Bible, there are references to the progression of a universe to that of life. I find that more than interesting.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Earth was rotating; day and night in that Biblical passage from Genesis. Recognizing that is recognizing science. Measurement of day and night has long been held as a vital aspect of understanding Earth and the lives we live. Some of the most interesting scientific investigations were made by Benjamin Franklin. He monitored day and night, along with tides and the length of travel of ships. Cargo ships, merchant ships and passenger ships.

The sun, our sun, is named Sol. The sun is hot. But the heat of the sun does not reach Earth. Imagine if it did. Sol is 92,960,000 miles (149,600,000 km) from Earth.

Earth is a very small spot in the universe, nearly invible, a little larger when one considers the solar system, but, Earth in no way catches every bit of solar emission

Observations of the Sun between 1996 and 2001 showed that emission of the slow solar wind occurred between latitudes of 30–35° around the equator of the Sun, which would put Earth in the path of those emissions, during the solar minimum (the period of lowest solar activity). But, the area of solar emissions then expanded toward the poles of the Sun as the minimum waned. By the time of the solar maximum occurred, the poles were also emitting a slow solar wind.

There is just no way the entire of Sol ever reaches Earth and that is especially true during a Solar Maximum when Sun Spots are more frequent.

The sun does not generate the warmth of Earth. Infrared Wavelength is what heats Earth. Earth generates the Infrared Wavelength, the Sun does not. Infrared have very specific wavelengths, frequency and energy levels. No other wavelength in the solar system has those specific measurements.

Infrared is 700 nm to 1 mm, the Frequency is 430 Thz - 300 GHz and the Photon Energy is 1.24 meV to 1.7 eV.

Sol supplies what is considered "Irrandiance." It is electromagnetic radiation. Sol supplies two types of electromagnetic waves, one is visual light, extreme ultraviolet and X-ray. Of all that electromagnetic spectrum emitted from Sol, very little makes it's way to Earth and what does is filtered by Earth's atmosphere.

...Some skeptics of human-induced climate change (click here) blame global warming on natural variations in the sun’s output due to sunspots and/or solar wind. They say it’s no coincidence that an increase in sunspot activity and a run-up of global temperatures on Earth are happening concurrently, and view regulation of carbon emissions as folly with negative ramifications for our economy and tried-and-true energy infrastructure.

“[V]ariations in solar energy output have far more effect on Earth’s climate than soccer moms driving SUVs,” Southwestern Law School professor Joerg Knipprath, writes in his ‘Token Conservative’ blog. “A rational thinker would understand that, especially if he or she has some understanding of the limits of human influence. But the global warming boosters have this unbounded hubris that it is humans who control nature, and that human activity can terminally despoil the planet as well as cause its salvation.”

Many climate scientists agree that sunspots and solar wind could be playing a role in climate change, but the vast majority view it as very minimal and attribute Earth’s warming primarily to emissions from industrial activity—and they have thousands of peer-reviewed studies available to back up that claim.

Peter Foukal of the Massachusetts-based firm Heliophysics, Inc., who has tracked sunspot intensities from different spots around the globe dating back four centuries, also concludes that such solar disturbances have little or no impact on global warming. Nevertheless, he adds, most up-to-date climate models—including those used by the United Nations’ prestigious Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)—incorporate the effects of the sun’s variable degree of brightness in their overall calculations....

Earth is about consumption, long before it is about production. A rock doesn't breath, but, it was here before all else.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

There is a clear understanding in Genesis that Earth transformed over time. There is the understanding there was a place where nothing existed until the mind of god made it so. And it is clear the transformation was controlled. It has a purpose and it needed to be molded.

That is not far from any theory science holds in understanding the Earth and it's place in space. The question arises does human understanding encompass the fact we are not the beginning of life, but, the result of it?

A new understanding of god by a cosmologist that views 'measured' science slightly differently. Perhaps. But, this is a good place to start to realize what a sincere carrying capacity of Earth is all about. Earth exists of FINITE matter.

Jon Cartwright
It started with a bang, and has been expanding ever since. For nearly a century, this has been the standard view of the Universe. Now one cosmologist is proposing a radically different interpretation of events — in which the Universe is not expanding at all.

In a paper posted on the arXiv preprint server, Christof Wetterich, a theoretical physicist at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, has devised a different cosmology in which the Universe is not expanding but the mass of everything has been increasing. Such an interpretation could help physicists to understand problematic issues such as the so-called singularity present at the Big Bang, he says.

Although the paper has yet to be peer-reviewed, none of the experts contacted by Nature dismissed it as obviously wrong, and some of them found the idea worth pursuing. “I think it’s fascinating to explore this alternative representation,” says Hongsheng Zhao, a cosmologist at the University of St Andrews, UK. “His treatment seems rigorous enough to be entertained.”...

To return to the realization Earth has a carrying capacity, every living thing, every natural system consumes. That is vitally important to understand The Carrying Capacity of Earth. Nature is not a production machine, it is a living existence of consumption.

The Carrying Capacity of Earth

This is a graph from a website called "The Steady State Revolution." (click here) What I like about it is the fact it incorporates an understanding we are at a unique place in time on Earth.

When I look at this graph besides the growth of human experience, I also see population growth.

It challenges science to measure where we have been and where we are going.

I will attempt to propose a way of thinking about Earth's Carrying Capacity that is not only interesting, but, carries brevity that will close the loop on debate.

Closing the loop on the debate has sincere brevity we need to cross this finish line.

There is definitely a beginning to this MEASUREMENT and definitely a definitive understanding. In order to bring all minds to bear to understand the brevity of this topic, I'll use Bible references to harness a clear understanding the wise men had as well as we.

I hope you enjoy the ride.
It is Sunday Night

"Curtains" from the album "Discipline" sung by Janet Jackson (click here) and composed by  Antonio Dixon, Rodney Jerkins, Lashawn Daniels and Eric Dawson

Ah, you seen my show, you followed my tour
I heard you scream with eighty thousand more
But tonight, I close up my tour in your room
Know I pull 'em out of the crowd and guess who

The band is in place, the cameras are set
I make sure we tape it so you don't forget
I'ma take control, take it slow so don't move
It's 'bout to go down so just wait for my cue

House lights go low, spotlight up more
It's time so just sit back and enjoy the show

Time to close the curtains
Come on in the stage is set
Before the show starts mic check
Tonight is so exclusive
We should make it Pay-Per-View

Time to close the curtains
I only take requests from you
Just tell me what you want me to do
I promise you, you'll be screaming
Out at home when I'm through

Let's change the set, try some new steps
Lets take it somewhere we haven't been yet
Its gonna be kinda hard 'cause I can't always bring you
The crowd is screaming out I want more I hear you

How is your seat, can you see everything?
Baby, I don't want you miss anything
I'm a dedicate this next one to you
'Cause you my number one fan and I'm showing you love

House lights go low, spotlight up more
It's time so just sit back and enjoy the show

Time to close the curtains
Come on in the stage is set
Before the show starts mic check
Tonight is so exclusive
We should make it Pay-Per-View

Time to close the curtains
I only take requests from you
Just tell me what you want me to do
I promise you, you'll be screaming
Out at home when I'm through

Now's the perfect time for an Intermission
If you need something to drink
Better get it by now
(By now)
Gotta break it down
(By now)
'Cause I don't want some, no more

Now I call you for the end of the show
Let me slow it down
I'm not ready to get off
As the finale's done I'll open the door

Time to close the curtains
(To close the curtains, baby)
Come on in the stage is set
(Stage is set)
Before the show starts mic check
(Baby)
Tonight is so exclusive
We should make it Pay-Per-View

Time to close the curtains
I only take requests from you
Just tell me what you want me to do
I promise you, you'll be screaming
Out at home when I'm through

I have one question. Only one.

It is for the Chancellors, Board of Trustees and Presidents of Harvard and Yale.

Question:

Given the fact all natural systems have limits known as The Carrying Capacity; what is the Carrying Capacity of Earth?
If the USA is falling behind in their brain trust capacity, then it is because it allows Wall Street to treat them frivolously.

Our best are not in PRACTICE of their skills, they are sold to the lowest bidder.

The Generation the Bush Administration Disregarded except for being soldiers.

Student loan debt is slowing the economy.

Additionally, I strongly believe the US Labor Department needs to examine the demand for more education in jobs where it is only a convenience for the employer to have extra talent. If a BS is all that is needed, but, there is a glut of MS available, the HABIT employers are getting into is raising the QUALIFICATION bar to make it impossible to get a job at the BS level. Pretty soon the American worker will need a PhD. to flip hamburgers are McDonald's. There is nothing like having a JD in the work force to ask for help at minimum wage.

There is also a paradigm that needs to be added to the Equal Opportunity Commission. If a BS is all that is needed for the job, but, greater degrees such as Masters or higher are having trouble finding work and are removing opportunity for Bachelors ready, then that is hiring a OVER QUALIFIED worker. It dummies down the brain trust. It begins to shrink the jobs for MS and PhD. It doesn't put greater capacity in a society, it shrinks it. A BS never hired will chase a MS if there is a capacity for work. Then being overqualified that BS turned MS will never be challenged to advance THE PRACTICE.

No one is going to tell me this isn't a corporate strategy. BS ready should be working in BS jobs. MS is over qualified for BS jobs. The US Labor Department should be DEFINING the BOUNDARIES for JOB DESCRIPTIONS in our PROFESSIONAL brain trust.

Additionally, what are universities doing to actually reflect on their degree programs. Are they having conferences within their academic communities to be sure their curriculum is intact, at a reasonable cost and current to the demands placed on our young people? Should the degree programs be reviewed for relevancy to the manipulation by Wall Street? It is something to think about

I would think Harvard and Yale would have some clout here. Is the world a better place because of their graduates? NOT NECESSARILY MORE PROFITALBE for Wall Street, but, a better place. If not, why not. Personally, I believe there is room for improvement.

If a university offers a degree in Forestry, without seeing the forest for the timber, what good are you?

The costs of a college education, among both private and public institutions, have ballooned every year since 1990, from an average of $10,620 per year to $18,133 in 2010, according to the National Center for Education Statistics. And millennials are pursuing college to a greater extent than earlier generations of young adults....
