These extended clips should not be sold in the USA. They are an ego trip and nothing less.

The victims of the Arizona shooting stated the same exact method of ending the slaughter. "When the gunman stopped to reload we were able to "stop him" / "run out of the theater." If these clips are not available in the USA there will be less on the street and citizens have half a chance to save their own lives.

The survival stategy of the victims of both massacres were exactly the same. When the gunmen went to reload they were less vulnerable to attack and in the Arizona shooting it was at that point when the gunman was taken down to the ground, stopped, gun removed from his hand and held for police to arrive.

The events had the result of survival in the very same methodology.

The exact methodology of the victims empowered them.

No extended clips, better chance at survival. This is ridiculous. There is no application for these weapons in this country. Legislators have to be held responsible for protecting citizens or they aren't needed. They should not be protecting the NRA.

6000 rounds of ammunition, 6000 dead people

...Holmes, 24, a graduate student, was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, (click title to entry - thank you)  a 12-gauge shotgun and a Glock .40-calibre handgun, Oates said. Police found an additional Glock .40 in his car, parked outside the cinema's rear emergency exit.
He had purchased the weapons legally at three local gun stores in the last 60 days and had bought 6,000 rounds of ammunition.
Officers who arrived on scene within 90 seconds of the first emergency calls took Holmes into custody in a car park behind the cinema, where he surrendered without a fight....
The police stopped him. He had plans. He had a lot of plans.
