The real Republican expert on China and Afghanistan.

The "Romney Style" changed after this debate. There have been noticeable changes in his stage presence. He became a 'fire brand' speaker from a podium speaker under the mentoring of the former coach of Rep. Bachmann.

The GOP was looking for the "Bring Bush Back" candidate when they should have been learning what Former Governor Huntsman was trying to convey and that was a return to legitimacy was necessary. But, Rove and the Right Wing Media was too invested in the "Bring Bush Back" model. One has to wonder if Rove can do anything else beside the 'Bring Bush Back' rant.

Donald Trump is off the hook for a 2012 independent run. So, sorry Sarah, the pizza was good though, huh?

Trump is about ratings and nothing else. Not worth discussing, it is all hype.

..."You look (click title to entry - thank you) at what's going on with China, you look at what's going on with the other OPEC nations and how they are absolutely destroying this country, and he's the only one who talks about it," Trump told a group of reporters at an impromptu news conference in Las Vegas. "So that was very important to me. I thought he did very well in the debates, that was very important... I think if he debates that well, I don't think Obama will fare well against him....

The Komen Foundation does not have exclusive rights of Breast Cancer research.

Komen is now dominated by Anti-Abortion activists and the USA women's community is better off without them.  Why am I glad I never bought those running shoes!

After the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure’s decision to defund Planned Parenthood, attention has focused on its Vice President for Policy, Karen Handel. She joined the group last January after a failed run for governor in Georgia, where she had advocated defunding Planned Parenthood.
But there’s another woman who deserves equal credit: Americans United for Life President Charmaine Yoest. It’s her group that issued a report last fall, “The Case for Investigating Planned Parenthood,” that led to a probe by the Energy and Commerce Committee. And it’s that investigation that puts Planned Parenthood in violation of Komen’s new policy that bars funding of groups under investigation.

Yoest has run Americans United for Life for three years. She came to the group from former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee’s presidential campaign, and before that, served as the Family Research Council’s vice president for communications. She moved to Washington in the 1980s to work in the Reagan administration. But she counts this as perhaps her biggest victory....

It doesn't matter the 'holier than thou' excuses, the fact of the matter is an investigation is not a reason for victimizing women in the USA.  If there was malpractice by physicians directly effecting the health of women it would be conceivably a good reason, but, the investigations swirling around Planned Parenthood are political, have no basis in civil rights and have absolutely nothing to do with Breast Health of women and men.  There is absolutely no reason for any woman to believe Komen won't further endanger the best outcomes for women with a partner in Planned Parenthood with longevity and proven records of results.

I have no intentions of ever supporting Komen again.  They have a horrible business model and they have very questionable officers involved with delicate and important decisions.

Komen, Planned Parenthood and Congress: What's the status? (click here for video)

...The congressional inquiry was launched in September by Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.) to determine, among other things, whether Planned Parenthood has used public money to fund abortions. Although Planned Parenthood receives federal money, that money can't be used to provide abortions....

I do approve of nor do I appreciate a woman's health living in the shadows of politics in the USA.  I don't like uncertainty regarding support for a woman's health either.  There is no grey here for me.  Either women are receiving services or they are not.  Stating the current grants will be honored is simply a legal statement to uphold existing CONTRACTS with Planned Parenthood.  It is more than obvious Komen has no will within their organization to fend off 'politics as usual' for the Anti-Abortionist activists that act to create policy.  I have no patience with this and Planned Parenthood has whatever time is left for their grants to raise new monies to fund their Breast Health activities.  I challenge Planned Parenthood to find affiliations for fostering Breast Cancer Research and the funding that is necessary to proceed.  Komen is not a reliable source.

I am a 15 year breast cancer survivor.  There is no room for this.  It is disasterous and sacrifices precious time for the women that have yet to be diagnosed and survive this hideous disease that attacks every aspect of the definition of 'women.'

President Obama gave a wonderful expression of faith at the National Prayer Breakfast.

However, the faithful of the House Republicans have yet to set aside their political priorities when it comes to testimony of Attorney General Holder.

It would appear as though admitting there were more problems within their own spectrum under the Former President Bush that carried over to the current administration is more than Republicans are willing to admit.  Attorney General Holder needs to release whatever documents exist about "Gunwalker and Wide Receiver" and it relationship with ATF actions since the inception of planting guns in Mexico to PROVE the existance of weapons exportation to Mexico.

Mr. Issa bemoans Groundhog Day as a marker to their agenda.  Give me a break.

...It will be interesting (click title to entry - thank you) to see if the Committee stirs the anthill even further by raising questions about other messed-up operations.

Meanwhile, confidential sources have told The Outdoor Wire about Operation Wide Receiver, another ATF/Justice Department investigation gone bad.

Mounted approximately five years ago out of the Tucson office, Wide Receiver may have actually been the template used -with equally inept results- by the now-infamous Phoenix operations.

In Operation Wide Receiver, Tucson agents allowed the sales of more than 500 firearms to known straw purchasers. Like Gunrunner/Fast and Furious, the operation apparently backfired.

Some firearms in Wide Receive were equipped with RFID tracking devices. In Wide Receiver, it seems the illegal purchasers seemed more than slightly knowledgeable of the way the ATF and how to take their aerial and electronic tracking procedures down.

Knowing the time aloft numbers for virtually all planes used in government surveillance, the buyers had a simple method of getting their purchases across the border undetected. They simply drove four-hour loops around the area.

As surveillance planes were forced to return to base for re-fueling, the smugglers simply turned and sprinted their cargo across the border.

The RFID tags also turned out to be problematic....

Why it is that Arizona always turns up as more problematic than any other state on the border?
