Obama. Pelosi. Obama. Pelosi. Obama. Pelosi. Obama. Pelosi. Obama.

Thank you, Michael !

Abortion Rights fall back to the States and the Courts.

It is time to pass a Comprehensive Federal Abortion Rights Bill. It is time women matter in the USA and stop Republicans from occupying our uterus.

The Republicans are STILL the party of NO and corrupt

Mike Pence needs to sit down. The tears he is about to break into are as phoney as his pleas.

The Republican Insurance Stimulus makes malpractice legal.

Rhetoric: The House Republican bill substitute ends junk lawsuits that contribute to higher health care costs by increasing the number of tests and procedures that physicians sometimes order not because they think it's good medicine, but because they are afraid of being sued.

Reality: The Republican bill substitute offers new no ideas; the bill caps the amount of damages a person injured can receive and will preempt state consumer protection laws. House Democrats have included a voluntary state incentive grants program in our bill to encourage states to develop alternatives to traditional malpractice litigation.

John Boehner is over reacting and taking provisions of the Health Care Reform Bill out of context. The Health Care Insurance Commission is legislated to CONTROL the exploitation of the health care insurance companies and if they deny a pertinant procedure it is possible to reverse that decision by the Commissioner. In other words, where health insurance companies find loop holes, the Commissioner closes it.

There is no socio-economic discrimination in the Roe v. Wade decision. Quite the contrary, when Roe v Wade was decided women were disadvantaged.

Women have the right to "Chose" due to Roe v,. Wade. Roe v. Wade is the law of the land.

The Stupid Stupak Amendment is unconstitutional. How did Stupak ever get into the Democratic Party?
Vote No. Just that simple.
It has a methodology to defeat more than abortion.

Barack Obama's overall job approval rating is at 57%...

The Republicans keep on lying. They are amazing. They only see dollar signs and NOTHING else. They should work so hard to get the Bush Bailout back

The Republicans should be ashamed of themselves. Michelle Bachman. What an idiot. Her statement was, "I demand unanimous consent to revise and extend my comments because this bill...causes economic impacts on the economy."

I wouldn't expect the Economic Impacts to occur anywhere else but the economy, would you? Want to be more specific Michelle. You know facts. Figures. Alternatives.

The Republicans are incensed. And why? Because 'their base' says they have to be incensed. "Vote for me, I hated the Democrats for you!"

The Republicans are just complaining. They aren't saying a darn thing.

They CONTINUE to complain that the Health Care Reform Legislation will cost billions and billions and will burden out children. REPEATEDLY, President Obama has stated, this bill is paid for by existing programs that it will replace and it won't add one penny to the deficit.

What the Republicans are complaining about simply doesn't make sense. If a bill is paid for by cutting ineffective and expensive program then there is no deficit and it is NOT burdening any generation. When are Republicans going to make sense? They haven't made sense for 30 years, I would think they would change soon.

This is landmark legislation that will bring our people the health care insurance reform they need. The children of this nation need this bill desperately and they need to achieve wellness again. Something that has deteriorated with every Republican tax cut and every Republican spending program. Building "Six Flags Over Lincoln" was far more important than reforming health care under the Republcan administrations. Far more important.

The Republicans have bartered away the wellness of our children and our nation and today we are faced with people unable to obtain health insurance and dying because of it. Everyone can thank the Republicans for that.

Running an illegal war in Iraq was far more important for Republicans than stabilizing Afghanistan. Far more important. Far more important than reforming health care to the Ameican people. Far more important.

Squandering a budget surplus because "We are a Nation at War." was far more important and giving rebate after rebate after rebate to buy votes. Far more important.

Well, today for the people that vote for the Health Care Reform Legislation in the House will make the statement that the PEOPLE are far more important, their wellness is far more important and the social injustices of our nation will be corrected! And not adding a dime to the deficit or even depriving the Republicans of their next rebate should the surplus return.

It is about darn time!

The latest on Ida. She's coming! By the way, Hurricane Season ENDED November 1. No one told Ida.

Have you noticed the ones that always do the most damage are women? Notice that? Katrina, Wilma, not Ida. I guess there was an Andrew in there somewhere.

The storm has reconstituted itself over the open ocean and anyone in the way needs to pay attention, including the Yucatan Peninsula and nearby islands.

The wind speed picked up and the central pressure dropped and its peripheral boundaries took shape as soon as this accelerating storm moved off land over water again.

The eye wall got tight very quick. It has the potential to be huge and mean.

Katrina's high winds happened very, very quickly. Katrina was a Cat 1 when it passed over Florida.

Predictions are saying it will mostly dissipate in five days. I don't know about that. I hope they're right, but, I think it better to be prudent. There is a lot of 'hot water' this storm will travel over in the Gulf before five days are out. If nothing else there is potential for a tonne of rain.

Mimic killings - We accept violence in our society all too easy. We accept 'going postal' in society, but, difficult when it is military.

There are too many guns on the street. How many times does it have to be said?

There was also a heinous mimic crime on another military base. I'll post what I can find in a minute. The military knows what it is doing when they have an incident like this. They secured their bases in a heart beat because violence like this can have a ripple effect from both sides. I guarantee it sets the folks on the bases a little on edge.

...Jason Rodriguez was taken into custody several hours after the shooting Friday at a downtown Orlando office tower, and police say he will be charged with first-degree murder and other crimes.
Police said Rodriguez told detectives he blamed the firm for recent trouble he had receiving unemployment benefits. As officers led him handcuffed into a police station, a reporter asked the divorced 40-year-old why he had attacked his former colleagues.
"Because they left me to rot," said Rodriguez, who recently told a bankruptcy judge he was making less than $30,000 a year at a Subway sandwich shop and had debts of nearly $90,000....

If you recall, North Carolina military was the scene of some very nasty wife killings not long ago. You know these folks serve in countries where women are not highly regarded with esteem. It wears on a person, especially men. There is a lot going on and I am sure the military is doing all it can to secure its personnel from danger.

I am told by folks who seem to know what went on at Camp LeJeune that it was a beheading. It could be a rumor. I don't know. If he served in Iraq or Afghanistan the possibility of him being that violent is understandable. If that is true, THAT is more violence than I thought anyone could conceive of. That is a brutal attack by a very strong person. I am curious his background.

...“A lot of your questions today are going to fall into two categories. On one hand, there are going to be a lot of unanswered questions because I simply don't have the information. On the other hand, there's going to be questions that I won't answer because of the pending investigation,” said US Marine Capt. Timothy Patrick....
